They'll never do it. Microsoft want sure fire profits. They want what, they feel, works. They're not really willing to gamble like Sony does. Microsoft watches the market and goes with it, no risks.

They'll never get it. Microsoft are too smug, they're always busy trying to catch up with no ability of foresight and the Japanese, like so many Americans (Chevy, Ford, Dodge, Harley Davidson, Baseball, American Football, Apple Pie and Microsoft) are very much so about support their own economy. They're interested in Japan. There was a time when the Japanese knew a lot about us, adopted a lot of our culture into theirs, but these days, most Japanese don't really know anything ...

Oh, and there's no multi-player. I wasn't going too but SUCK ON THAT MICROSOFT! I really love how Sony have stopped and taken a look at things and seen the value of and have taken into heavy consideration those of us that take our hard earned money into the store and browse the glass game cases for that a game we take home, lock ourselves in the game room, shut off the lights, turn up the sound and immerse ourselves in a story, just like when we were kids and dad would pull out the st...

It's good to see your hard work paid off and that people recognize that. There are developers that do it for the money, and that shows, but when it's not about that, it shows. This game apparently shows it wasn't about the money, it was about giving gamers an experience worth far more than $60, that's no amount of money could ever cover.

We all have projects we take great pride in and give it our best, and it's tough to see that trampled and hope those e...

Because that's the past this is the present. We want technology to move forward and do more, not make us buy the same game every console gen. It's really no big deal and you can just buy the original hardware, that's what people like about it.

It's political. There's no way Sony and Microsoft get along, youre either a spy or you're appealing to someone else. Win devs over by making them think others are their friend. This really just seems fake. If they were buddy buddy then why aren't Microsoft just saying: "Ya know what, you make better hardware than we do, we'll develop games for your console. Even Microsofts operating systems consumes so many resources that Windows can't even function properly and i...

If you have a PS4 and a PC you're good, you don't need an Xbox One because all of the games are available and run better on a PC. Really, unless you're diehard into Halo or have to play Gears of War, that's all this console has. Sonys been around the block longer, has more experience, has a much stronger first-party, has long lasting established relationships, and with that strong first-party comes a strong list of exclusive games, Microsoft has nothing. Insomniac bailed becau...

It used to be that Microsoft made gamers figure they needed to get an Xbox One. Sunset Overdrive remains on the Xbox One and only the Xbox One, but there was Rise of the Tomb Raider that was announced as an Xbox One exclusive. After it was revealed as a timed exclusive gamers found out they didn't need an Xbox One, but with a little patience, they could play it a year after. Sony made that years wait really easy providing it's fans with hit after hit and before they knew it it was Tom...

No. Why does Sony want to be Microsoft? Why would PlayStation want to be Xbox? PS4 is double the install base of Xbox One. Sony must therefore be doing all the right things and Microsoft can't seem to get a grip. The answer is simply NO, they don't need to.

The Japanese don't collect like Americans do. We Americans love our physical copies. Remember all that fuss about DRM and owning what we buy that crippled the Xbox One AR it's announcement then backpeddling and Sony announcing physical games to trade, loan out, or keep forever the crowd applauding in a loud roar? What's that tell you about the desire for physical media and trading up for new games? Yup. Sony are listening.

Rare has run dry, they haven't been able to keep it together since their departure from Nintendo yet Microsoft continues to go back to them time and time again because there is nobody else at Microsoft. They've got The Coalition, Turn 10, and 343 Industries. They had Lionhead and cut them loose after pressing them to make a Kinect game and then cut them loose. How has Rare existed this long and not shuffled around their staff to piece together a better team. Surely the developers frus...

I think Sony are "men" of their words. They see the mobile space and aren't gonna mess with that anymore, they're focused on console development. The Switch isn't really that impressive anyway, in my opinion. It's a dated tablet that's pretty much just getting Wii U ports. Not impressed but consumers are sheep buying into it and somehow willing to buy the same games all over again.

I think Sony are in fact done with the handheld market, there&#...

On a continent where public nudity isn't that big of a deal, secular society reigns supreme, and women can show off as much of their boobs as they want as long as you can't see a nipple, and they're fussing over this? Britain has a lot of other issues to work out first before tackling this. I applaud them for wanting to create a better society, but they've got conflicting messaging.

He's right on several points but then let's look at Bayonetta on the PS3. They at one point said "Sonys Ninjas were dispatched to help assist in fixing the game" but even Sonys own couldn't do it. Bend have developed games before, they did Uncharted: Golden Abyss on the Vita and did well and the PS4 is supposed to be significantly easier to develop for than the PS3 so, that's positive but then some studios get shut down. Maybe Sony will disband Bend at its conclusio...

Nothings sacred anymore these days. There was a time when there was loyalty and identity. Mario still remains in the mushroom Kingdom, Master Chief still resides on the glowing X, but Activision just can't wait. They sat on the I.P. for years after Crash of the Titans and once Sony prodded them dug it up again.. Microsoft are very happy to get this as are Nintendo, not that Microsoft are going to put up a fence and say: "Ya know what, this isn't right." or Nintendo to say: &...

At the end of the day, Microsoft were sore they ended up riding in the back seat and this is a childish middle school antic to try and regain favor after Microsoft shot themself in the foot, lied to consumers (which consumers will never forget) and tried firing off their crew thinking it would convince people Microsoft was starting all over, but the board still remains intact with the same minds that started all of this anyway, only difference? Phil Spencer is taking orders and the primary ta...

Ha ha ha ha! I saw this coming years ago. Microsoft and EA, like twins it's amazing Microsoft hasn't acquired them yet. MICROSOFTS BIGGEST EXCLUSIVE OF 2018 GAMERS HOPE TO SAVE THE XBOX ONE AND X IS BATTLEFRONT II MEETS BANJO KAZOOIE MEETS ASSASSINS CREED IV and is getting the microtransaction treatment in hopes to make money as microtransactions are said to have been the biggest profit for Activision in recent reports to make up for lost cost of Xbox and this is what Micro$oft is ban...

I completely disagree. It's difficult to get ahead of your competition when all you do is watch what they do and then try and duplicate it. That's how Microsoft operates. It was Bill Gates mentality and when he took his leave and Steve Ballmer came on scene, that's how he saw things, think about it, if all you're trying to do is keep up, that's all you'll be doing. The thing is, Sony have been everywhere and anywhere they can. They're out talking to people, making ...

Yeah, because the Xbox One X is showing how horrific digital sales are. If you have an Internet data cap, downloading games in 4K can burn through that pretty quick unless you download parts of your games one month and the other the next, but that sounds preposterous, doesn't it? But that's the reality reality of it. The Switch shows you need the storage capacity of other cards and then hope that your Switch doesn't crash or you're screwed.
