You cannot (shouldn't) underestimate Phil Harrison. Whether Sony wants to admit it or not, they owe this guy for the success of the PS4 today. Harrison knows his stuff and he also knows Microsoft, having been there to launch the Xbox One with Phil Spencer, that's deadly because he knows how Phil Spencer works. What Harrison is EXTREMELY good at is finding developers. Media Molecule that was quickly bought up under Trettons reign at PlayStation was sought out by Harrison. Naughty Dogs ...
You forgot Agent that's been sitting in limbo since Tretton ran things.
Whoa! That'd be crazy. GTA only on PlayStation? Pack up and go home. Sony also owns baseball. Could you imagine 2K Basketball and then! Bye, bye, Madden! Sony might actually put up a fight to combat EA on NFL rights as I believe that recently expired. Could see an NFL 2K reboot brothers and sisters with San Diego Studio developing baseball and football. It was rumored that Microsoft were acquiring Obsidian and what happened? Maybe this isn't so far fetched an idea, yup, pack your bags...
Why? Who cares that's his problem, not SEGAs, SHIP IT! Trump will fire him for you.
Sony, you don't need this because it really matter. We've been through this before, "gamers" thought they won, and here we are having this same conversation but again, you don't need it. The Xbox One X is the, most power console, now, but is already outdated, a lot of good that did but PlayStation is still the number one selling console, why? Developers. Quit letting everyone distract you. If I were Shawn Layden or that other guy in Europe, I'd focus on my in-house c...
Switch is basically a console of ports, Nintendo are lazy and their creative genius is long gone. All their IPs now rip off a single PlayStation IP, LITTLEBIGPLANET. I have two games for my Switch. Breath of the Wild and Mario, everything I already have on my Wii U. Smash Bros hasn't changed since the Cube and technically I've played Breath of the Wild a long time ago on PS3 and can now play it in VR. It's a blatant knockoff of Elder Scrolls Skyrim, just with a family friend color...
Electronic Arts and Microsoft, truly, a match concocted out of the firey depths of hell. Do they both not have enough money? Maybe if they spent their money more wisely rather than just throwing it around, perhaps spending $1000 on an interview for someone they know they won't hire, Executives really have no respect for the dollar and how hard people have to work for it while they throw it around, and this is a regular for Microsoft now. EA already doesn't care. Guaranteed Anthem woul...
Hey Microsoft, are you and EA paying attention and taking notes? Microsoft always likes to say they're listening and taking feedback, well, when you pay $60 for a game, you should be getting just that, the game. Don't dissect it into pieces before everyone goes on break and then try to sell those pieces individually after time, PUT IT ALL ON THE DISC. One game, one cost, that's what sequels are for. Enough of this DLC. And certainly enough of these microtransactions and Loot Boxes...
You can't say this is like The Last of Us Part II, they're straight, not lesbian, and Sony Bend aren't political and suffering from porn addictions. Neil Druckmanns poor wife.....
Gee whiz, the same here, can you all not proofread? You're supposed to be professionals with college degrees and in your rush to get articles done, they're riddled with errors. If you can't proofread it because it's too long and boring, then your reader is going to do and feel the same. There's software these days to assist your lazy ass. There's no excuse. If you just wanted to play games, you may want to consider a career change because you're making yourself and...
They said somewhat, it's at least an 8.5 game.
IGN.... Who reads IGN anymore? A bunch of uneducated amateurs that don't understand journalism is flooded with more non-gaming "news" by a website called the "International Gaming Network" or "International Gaming New" that overs more TV (Game of Thrones) and is opinion-based rather than doing what they're supposed to do, "L.A. Confidential", right? "Just the facts, just the facts". Hate IGN, kindergarteners trying to be pros.....
We should say almost the same about your "article".
They're supposed to be professional journalists no? This is most common in professional websites like IGN and now this, but a lot in IGN these days. Are you not taught in school, more specifically college where you're determining and mastering the craft to enter the work force to make a decent living in a career, to proofread your work? When you complete that work, you pass it to two others to have them d...
You gotta be careful with this article. I'm a pro PlayStation gamer, though I game on everything, Mattrick really gave Sony a run for their money. Kinect was looking to be bigger than PlayStation Move would be as well as put the Wiimote in the back seat but ultimately Kinect was removed and Move lives on through VR. Sony just needs to add joysticks to their move controllers.
Anyway, Mattrick kind of made things a nightmare for Sony and he always had a grin on his face w...
Yup. Let Sony build the hardware and just develop games. Microsoft are asoftware company, nothing more. The Xbox or Dreamcast 2 was a nice addition but, 360 couldn't rival the PS3 and One just pissed off consumers, this is a smart move, or perhaps, a new revolution is on the horizon and game streaming is it, if that's the case, I'm finally out offering, but, can finally work on my massive back catalog..... Dang..... That's a ton of games.
Almost old enough to drink, but an work a job in prostitution legally.
Um, no. It's just a port machine.
Nice. I grow tired of waiting.
Smart. Playing the good guy on an overhyped game and EA continues to spiral downward. However, we see that a development company can't be buried, unfortunately, voted by consumers wallets as Konami are still around. That's power. EA would function differently, and consumers would start getting NFL 2K type football games again, like PlayStation fans get to enjoy The Show every year if consumers would grow a pair and say ""ENOUGH!" And not buy Madden to make a point. Madd...
Morons. PlayStation (Sony) owns all of those IPs. It's not that Quantic Dream "took their ball and went to another program) it's Sony that said let's look into the PC market a bit more.
