Who says that? There's nothing wrong with the Store.
Man, Obsidian sure likes to complain.
Nintendo's having to outsource all of its work now because they're just suits. Iwata is gone and Miyamoto is getting old too. Nintendo's been closed up like a dolphins butt and they're gonna pay for it. They want to he so independent and do things on their own that there's been no apprenticeship and their "geniuses" are dying off. They haven't been too concerned with acquiring studios like Sony has been doing and Microsoft is just now getting too after being ...
Agreed.
They acquired six new mediocre studios, consumers haven't forgotten Xbox Ones introduction, the problem with DLC is finally being seen for what it is along with microtransactions, and Microsoft doesn't innovate in anything, they still suffer from the Ballmer effect. Finally, nobody knows what next gen brings so you can't call a winner on something you know nothing about but you can identify strengths and challenges that will be faced, I hate crap like this.
But they be immortal if they work. Google Ultra Violet shutting down, a prime example of why a digital future isn't in the best interest of consumers.
Yup.
I'm still waiting. It's just a port machine. Not sold yet.
I have a game room. When I buy a new gaming console, I want to see where new technology is taking me in my living room. When I want to live in the past, that's what my game room is for. I want developers and engineers putting their time and focus on what's coming tomorrow, not what happened yesterday, otherwise, what's the point of having new hardware? Indie games, I despise. The new hardware promises cutting edge technology with life-like graphics, high resolution textures, dynam...
Then you have absolutely no clue who Phil Harrison really is. The success of the PS4 today? Yeah, that came from him. You think he doesn't know Microsoft? He helped launch the Xbox One. He knows what they're up to, he knows their weaknesses, their business tactics, he knows Microsofts weak mentality and shallow non-invative business tactic as well, I really do think you underestimate the guy. Sure, the PS3 struggled over the years but, ladies and gentlemen, much of the success, reputa...
I hate digital only online only games, this is why. You put the money into it, ya lose it, never to be played again, but will God of War and Twisted Metal continue to he played for years and decades to come? Yup.
Who cares? I'm the only commenter on this, Sea of Thieves wasn't even yesterday's news.....
Sony, we've been through this before, we told you not to, and you did so, and everyone just laughed. It was Xbots that just wanted it to laugh. The question is, will Sony be dumb enough for fall for the same trap or say "No, Cross-Play isn't in our hest interest.... at all." plain and simple. Don't do it Sony, let it go and move on, you don't need it.
Not what I was hoping for. I was hoping Sony would've used VR and PS Now from here on out. Create and E3 Show floor type of a setup in VR and do a briefing sort of deal, but then use PS Now for gamers subscribed to PS Plus to play demos over PS Now, streaming capabilities made useful.
Watch, Cuphead is announced for PS4.
You forget how Microsoft played the game. They had some experience with the Xbox going into the Xbox 360, but trembled in fear going into their second generation so, what did Microsoft do? Dug deep into their corporate pockets and started out buying, wait for it, exclusive DLC. Yup, DLC was pretty much born from Microsoft. Ever wonder why your games suddenly got disected and sold to you in pieces? Because that's how Microsoft won over developers. They bought them off with something appeal...
Simple, it can't.
Nah, not at all. Harrison is a smart guy, you can't underestimate him but, it's just because of him Sony has nothing to worry about. While at Sony, Harrison assembled a strong group of first-party developers, plain and simple. It just took the needed time to realize the potential they had and PS3 helped them see that. Microsoft has cause to fear because, look at their first-party. Gears has lost its identity and is trying to do what Microsoft does best, and can only do, and that's...
Why are we even discussing this? It's owned by Sony, end of story. Gears of War isn't suddenly coming to PlayStation either, nor is Halo. Sony has done the streaming service already and it isn't taking and Sony today has the strongest first party. Everyone thinks because Google announced their service the world is ending, it's not. Quantico Dream is porting their game at Sonys request, or recommendation. Sony owns those IPs and Sony has been alright with PC support. Quantic Dr...
Go on GameStop, piss off the hand that feeds. Their games on your shelves make you money and you wanna tick em off, youre morons.
