It's already dated hardware. The original PS3 was $599 and nobody wanted it. The PS4 launched at $399. My answer, Sony had better launch the PS5 at $399. Again, dated hardware.
Because developers are still making games for it.
It's EA, rhe need to depart EA. EA pressures them with things they KNOW they shouldn't do microtransactions and online only, peer pressure, Bioware knew they shouldn't but let EA push them.
Now what sense does that make? They don't want their final hurrah to go out with a bang? They wanna settle for mediocrity? Hey, it's their reputation.....
Xbox jacked up giving Sony a huge advantage, it's gonna take something impressive to come back, I don't think they can.
Nice, I won't have to read a long drawn out article.
Nextbox and PS5. Uninteresting.
Uncharted, really? Only tools bought into Uncharted at Uncharted 2 or later, the rest of us saw it's promise from the first one, no surprise.
Yeah, because they're exactly the same, nothing unique. Ode to innovation ended with PS3.
It'd better be no more than $399. The tech is already out of date, it's budget hardware now. The PS3 was $499 and everyone griped and complained about the price, and the hardware was ten years ahead of its time with innovative tech and hardware, PS5 hardware has zero R&D, it's all off the shelf parts, and a 1 or 2 TB hardrive is going to be enough with games up to 100GB plus as has been stated that's mandatory install. Nope, better be $399.
Is Bluepoint Games Sonys next acquisition for PlayStation? Seems like Sony ought to start inking deals with Bluepoint and Ready at Dawn, honestly. I don't know how Kojima is feeling but he should be thinking about signing a deal with Sony as well. He's worked with them for as many years and, honestly, he holds the same reputation as Naughty Dog does with Sony. Sony aren't exactly looming over Naughty Dog but appear to give them a lot of freedom, I can't imagine they'd do t...
Eh, you know people buy Call of Duty by the millions, one persons opinion isn't going to stop that, get the mass media behind you and people might start thinking but, people are sheep, they gravitate to what's popular without a moments thought, this article is useless, you can't stop and freight train.
Why should they have to, and who cares what the content is in a Nintendo game? They're Nindisney. Bayonetta is the only game that causes you to scratch your head. Nintendo wants family friendly entertainment but have a thing for scantily-clad women with long hair, that's the Touchstone to their Disney, only it Nintendo doesn't have a Touchstone, they just brand it Nintendo. Disney won't even do that so as not to taint their name and reputation.
Um, this article is really confusing. Me, personally, I'm old-school, I like my games on cartridge or a disc. What I like is that PlayStation offers options, I game the way I want. I'm not forced to go one way or the other. I'm happy to hear PS5 is still planning on physical media, in case my Internet connection is lacking. Game companies can only move as fast as Internet PEOPLE CAN AFFORD. Fiber Optic is ridiculously expensive and there are still data caps. Games get bigger and b...
I love Xseed, to me they're like Working Designs. I'd still love to see Xseed try and work getting some of those games Remastered. Dragon Force Remastered, I'd like to see Virtua On and Radiant Silvergun ported to Sony hardware. Valis Remastered, I could go on and on. Saturn and Sega CD had so many great Working Design games. While Xseed is more a localized publisher, Sony might actually do well to acquire them as a localizing publisher to ensure their stuff stays on PlayStation w...
Either Google or Microsoft offered him more, he's not retiring. Funny though, Kaz Harai has been there longest, Tretton left, then Christoph Balestra and Bruce Straley left Naughty Dog after Amy Hennig was sent out, Andrew House left and now Layden. It's becoming too political, likely why so many have left and lack of ability to maintain control, power struggles abound which is likely why co-creator Bruce Straley (art director and game designer) left in a disagreement with co-creator ...
Maybe the liberalism views will disappear and they can get back to business, put a leash on Naughty Dog and snap them back from this political B.S. and let them get back to storytelling that's fun.
The game should be judged by what it sets out to be. How many games did we get this gen and last that aren't graphical wonders that look like Genesis and Super Nintendo games and still do well because they accomplish what they set out to be.
But only on PC, shoot. Hopefully comes to consoles as well
PC doesn't count, everything is coming to PC including Death Stranding and Detroit: Become Human. If it's announced for PS4 and Xbox, then publish this article.
