Absolutely, both Sony and Nintendo have proved this. But, Microsoft isn't and never has been innovative so there's no way to recover from this. Microsoft has always observed and then imitated, I call it "The Ballmer Effect". Microsoft doesn't know how to think for themselves. All their staff are frat boys that spent all their time in college getting drunk, not actually studying.

I'm sure it isn't all just for the OS. Storage space is reserved, I'm sure, for other necessary features, like the PS4 reserves for possible updates or something. Either way, it really does suck these days HDD space is so small with games so big. It's gonna get really annoying having to install the game, uninstall it to play a new game, then you want to go back and play the first game you have to uninstall and re-install and update the game again. This sure makes me miss cartr...

It doesn't, wouldn't, couldn't, determine the final outcome of the console wars, I hate to burst your bubble but, they're not as big as you think.

Well, when nobody wants your console, the only way to go is up, right?

Where have you been? They can't buy Level 5 without buying SEGA. SEGA acquired Level 5. And Remedy have been on the exclusive console side and it was a bad enough experience they won't do it again.

All I know is, Todd Howard's a rich man now, he doesn't have to work for the rest of his life now. Honestly, Skyrim was the last and ONLY Bathesda game I've ever played. Bethesda also doesn't own companies like Tangoworks and all that, so developers under that umbrella can always leave. But Skyrims the only game of there's I've ever played. To the average gamer, this may not matter, they still may have enough of a grudge with Microsoft that they still don't care. L...

Bluepoint probably doesn't wanna sell, but Sony doesn't just buy a studio to buy a studio, they want to make sure it's a solid track record. Quantic Dream pressured Sony to buy them and, while I think their games were great, they didn't sell well, so Sony have learned from that.

I'm personally of the opinion they need to acquire Ember Labs, that's definitely a PlayStation type of Studio, but not everyone wants to sell anyway, and Sony has to be selec...

And as part of their license renewal with MLB, they have develop The Show for Xbox, that's not fair, and that's not how business is done. Not that Microsoft cares because they don't, that's gratitude for ya. But, it's not a huge loss to Sony. I, personally, don't play Bethesda games, and who knows how many of your average gamers do. But a 7 billion dollar acquisition, Microsoft could've bought a console for their fans with that money or think of all the homeless th...

Doesn't really effect me, I'm not into Bethesda games. I think most gamers will still buy a PS5 because well, they don't have to buy an Xbox Series X, they just buy a PC and have Steam and live in both worlds freeing up money for a PS5. But, Microsoft makes money off of Bethesda now. That's a lot of money though, think of all the world poverty you could eliminate with $7.5 billion, or Microsoft basically bought every gaming fan an Xbox Series X console with what they spent buy...

Then it also needs BioWare.

It makes no difference for me, I'm not that into Bathesda. Sony needs to snap up that studio Ember Labs though, huge mistake if they don't, if Ember Labs will sell, they have a lot of talent and aren't expensive, like 7.8 billion.

I'm not at all surprised. They've been buddy buddy for a long time, Bethesda have been at all of Microsoft's E3 Press Conferences. Does it away me to buy and Xbox Series X over a PS5? No. I'm not a Bethesda fan, and I really don't think it has that kind of pull, consumers will still purchase a PS5 and then our base Bethesda games on Steam.

Well, now you have an option. It makes sense, really, maximize profits by going the multiplatform route. Person can always cancel their pre-order I know several thousand people would love to take it if you're so dissapointed, but I think you're just trying to make a desparete attempt to derail PlayStation, but you don't have that kind of influence, so resistance is futile.

I really don't think Xbox Series X will win in the long run, no way.

Um..... Nobody pays $100 for a Blu-ray disc drive.

1985d ago 0 agree2 disagreeView comment

No it doesn't. Sony will do one of two things. They'll proceed with business as normal knowing Microsoft's blunders continue to screw them over and Sony has won consumer confidence since the start of PS4 and really won consumers over with The Last Us back on the PS3, or they'll eat a momentary loss and take a hit on each console sold, as has been the case in the past, and keep consumers happy.

The last couple of console generations when consoles are announce...

They just don't know when to shut their trap. Hey Phil Spencer, do you know how to manage your own crew?

This is the response of a person that knows their defeated. The reaction of a whipped dog. I bet that makes 343 Industries feel all warm and toasty. Geez, Microsoft just doesn't know how, and can't help not knowing how to manage their P.R.

You can blame EA for that. Your very own screw you over. Canada sucks. Nothing like the great U.S. of A. Freedom and opportunity, we bow to no king or queen. EA are the masters of pocket picking. They nickel and dime to you to death and love it with zero remorse. Their huge supporters of paid DLC and Microtransactions, moreso then any other company, not mention the whole lootbox b.s.
