That's because nobody can get their hands on a PS5, still, but PS5 Pro is on its way. At one time, consoles were ahead of their PC counterparts. Once Nvidia lost their bid to AMD and PlayStation and Xbox became the same thing, just with different services, Nvidia remained committed to staying as far ahead of consoles as possible, hence PS4 and PS5 already behind at launch. Sony, like Nintendo, have learned from this that they'll always be behind so you have to find ways to create long...

MAG had 256. Was so ahead of it's time. Eat your heart out EA, Sony did it better, at one time.

Why do they need to leave Game Pass?

Why has Sony not squired this studio?

Microsoft thought they could release a console with no games and just play catch up later..... Sony was prepared. Nintendo has always been prepared. How much longer are we as consumers going to put up with Microsoft's: inexperience, deceit, laziness, and bullcrap? This has got to stop that Microsoft thinks they can't just coast by and play with the very best in the business, get rid of em.

Maybe, but it's a start on a new direction pushing competition. We've seen what happens to EA when there's no competition. Sports titles are pathetic every year with incremental upgrades because nobody can challenge then, or won't without being officially licensed. 2K lost out when EA bought exclusive NFL rights, maybe the same with NHL. 2K however is developing excellent basketball games and Sony with baseball, but EA tries to get away with as little as possible. Minimal cost...

Now the NFL needs to do the same. The NFL just sees gaming as a whoopity do and not anything serious. They make money off of licensing fees annually and that's about all they care about, not their brand. THEYRE NOT EVEN DEVELOPED BY AN AMERICAN DEVELOPMENT COMPANY! Here's irony for you, Madden is developed by a Canadian corporation..... Drive Chevy, ride a Harley, eat apple pie, and.... play Canadian videogames? Sure 2K has basketball, Sony has MLB, Konami virtually has soccer, EA has...

Eh.... Microsoft doing what they do best, mimicing. They're trying to see if they can pull and Uncharted, bad idea.

Or we can just leave it alone. So the game doesn't work on last gen consoles, big whoop. Doesn't work as well on current gen, that's just how it's going to be. These days, consoles are always going to be behind the curve, consoles used to be ahead but, it doesn't take long for the bitter nVidia that nobody no longer wants to go with to quickly release something to disrupt business for their competition. That's the problem with going one way. When PS3 used Nvidia and Xb...

What's the holdup Sony? You wanna see this talent develop on Microsoft and Nintendo hardware?

1882d ago 1 agree5 disagreeView comment

Maybe for the best. Demon's Souls was the start of it all. It remains a PS3 exclusive but Sony needs guys that can secure and keep exclusives, convince developers PlayStation is the only console to make money because if the install base. None if this timed exclusive Microsoft created bull. The PS2 was so successful because of that, they'd lock in their exclusives and they kept them.

No, it's bugs. I can't shut off the subtitles or turn on the HDR without the menu locking up on me, then I can't back out of the options menu. It's bugs.

Wow! It wasn't The Last of Us Part II? I would've fully expected the San Francisco love for the game but no, that's pretty amazing. Alright then. *Applauds. Would've loved to see Ghost of Tsushima see some love, that's what encourages developers to really make the effort, ya feel appreciated, ya bust your butt. Good for Supergiant though, congrats! I'm waiting for it to hit PlayStation. Surprised with all the support they've given Sony with PS4 that they bailed on ...

This is what the internet has done to gaming. Get it out the door now and patch it later business model. Developers have gotten lazy! This is unacceptable! Look at God of War II. A complex game to develop in it's day and play testers tested the CRAP out of that game to make sure it would release as one of Sony's biggest games, on a console that was said to be really difficult to develop for versus Microsoft's Xbox, and guess what, that disc wasn't pressed and shipped until it ...

Sony would be very wise to acquire Ember Labs, uh, now! This game has PlayStation and thus Sony written all over it. It's PlayStation quality that seems these guys came right out of Sony Pictures. Does Sony really want these guys to develop for Xbox or Switch? This could be like losing Crash Bandicoot or Spyro, I'm telling you, this would be a huge acquisition. But what do I know, I'm just one small, insignificant, puny consumer, right? Microsoft would LOVE to steal this from Sony...

This is what happens with overhyped games, when things go wrong and they get can't uphold the hype, they get butchered just like this. The dangers of video game hype.

SULLYS CIGAR The PlayStation and Xbox hardware are so much alike, they're both using AMD hardware. Like a PC has settings, it can't be that hard to adjust the settings, like on a PC, to each console. That's the whole reason Sony left behind Kutaragis brilliant innovation, far too ahead of the curve, for boring hardware parity, so ports that struggled were a thing of the past. The hardware with Series X and PS5 are so much alike, Sony and Microsoft may as well merge to build one co...

This is yet another prime example of the problem with an always connected console. Back in the day, Testers went through games with a fine toothed comb and when things looked good, ROMs and discs were then produced and pressed. Now, publishers are so greedy to hit deadlines to maximize profits during the holidays and end of fourth quarter to appease board investors, that quality and integrity are compromised. The Fix It Later business model uses and abuses internet console connectivity and co...
