Doubt it. QUALITY not quantity. Microsoft isn't a quality-type company. Prove it you say? Xbox 360. The only reason it "outsold" the PS3 for a time is because everyone had to keep replacing their consoles. Game development? YouTube is Amazing! Pull up Gears of War Road to E3. It'll show you what Microsoft knows about game development, it'll surprise ya.
(Laughing so hard my stomach hurts). Ah, that's a good one.
WHOA! Is Aaron Greenberg being rational for once? This is unheard of. Aaron "Executive Fanboy" Greenberg, being rational. Wow! Is he talking about Xbox, because how would he know what Sony or Nintendo have up their sleeve, unless someone told him, but then Geoff wouldn't he very good at keeping secrets either, which secrecy and confidentiality is what he thrives on and The Game Awards is HIS show, show how would Greenberg know? For all we know, Sony could in fact announce they n...
Further shows how out of touch Microsoft is with gamers. They're businessmen, not gamers. In a way, they're lucky they'd shown the game when they did. When they showed it thru had every intention of still hitting their Xbox Series X launch date, it was their release to sell their new console. Once everyone finally griped and complained about the game THEN Microsoft woke up, they obviously had no clue before they had even shown the game. Ladies and gentlemen, this is Microsoft'...
YES!!!!! Fun still triumphs over political agenda. But really, congrats definitely should go to Sucker Punch for their efforts. It really was an excellent game and it's good to hear everyone appreciated their work so, good job to everyone as well. It's not that The Last of Us II was bad, because Naughty Dog did it right, perfect? No. The stealth mechanics still needed work but, if I want to be preached to, Naughty Dog, I'll go to church. I don't want an attempt to gilt-trip me...
Absolutely nothing but all Microsoft does is mimic their competition, that's why they're the top most interesting company on the planet.
Would've been nice if they were better prepared. At launch for PS4, Sony learned from PS3 and manufactured a crap ton of consoles, everyone I knew that wanted a PS4 on launch day got one. Even though I camped out for pre-order of the console as soon as and was the first in my city to pre-order. PS5 has been a joke, Sony have let their consoles be swallowed up by scalpers, and interesting enough, haven't bothered to address it with any amount of empathy toward their consumers, Jim Ryan...
Phil Spencer running his yapper again. It's publicity, end of story. You can believe a word that escapes his lips.
Are you sure it's not because of scalpers?
So what. Big deal. Marketing is amazing, isn't it? Unless you too smart for it.
I beg to differ.
No one lives forever and you have to experience retirement at one point to really get the most out of what life you have left without being bogged down by a career. Perhaps the untimely death of Days Gone star role was a wake-up call they'd been spending too much time away from their families. Amy Hennig left Naughty Dog for the same reason. You've gotta have time to be a grandparent as well. All the baseball, soccer, hockey, etc. games and events you missed slaving away at a desk on...
Sony needs to find a way to screw over the scalpers. Build up a huge stock of consoles and launch them, oversaturates the market sure, but kills scalpers leaving them with more stock than they can handle. This needs to be combated leaving scalpers with wasted money and lost funds, that'll show em.
This guy's so full of it.
How was this permitted to happen? I hope Sony suddenly generates a ton of stock and everyone's happy and groups like those wind up screwed.
The Xbox 360 only sold as well as it did because of failure rate, careful.
So, you want Sony to be just like Microsoft and Microsoft to be just like Sony. Eh... Fanboys. Id rather have Microsoft think for themselves and he innovative rather than the Ballmer Effect. It's be nice if Microsoft could be innovative instead of just watching what everyone else does and then mimjcs that, that's Microsoft's idea of entering a competition and being competitive instead of just paving their own road. What's Microsoft given to the gaming community.... Well, nothi...
Uh oh. Microsoft ditching Samsung for LG? The world's about to turn upside down. Must've been all the positive press and compliments from Digital Foundry about their LG TVs that caught Microsoft's attention to think Samsung might be getting to popular and thus complacent.
This is why I want a PS5. Sony should be in talks with this studio about acquisition. Their animation team is top notch, we're talking Disney reputation here, which is synonymous with Sony and PlayStation. Why would Sony want this team to develop on anything other than their hardware. Let this development studio slip through your fingers Sony and it'd be a huge loss, I'd dare say this would be equivalent to when Sony acquired Media Molecule. You want Microsoft and Nintendo to have...
Not at all surprising and it'll continue that way. Sure beats current gens 2:1 PlayStation over Xbox.
