In the Bungie and Activision Contract, it states the first game from the studio will launch on Xbox 360 in 2013 and the Playstation 3 version in 2014. The Xbox 720 will also have its own version.
This information is found on PAGE-2 of the contract... you can download the contract in PDF format from the following link http://s3.documentcloud.org...
You are welcome fellow gamer. Besides, there is just so much information and events happening in the entertainment/games industry that it is difficult to follow up on EVERYTHING... that is why we are a community of gamers sharing thoughts, information and knowledge in the forums across the mighty internet.
You raised a question, and now you know something you did not. Tomorrow, I will raise a question(s) and get schooled by you (and/or other gamers) on what I did not know (LO...

"master chief
is the voice in this the same guy in the game? it doesnt sound like it. To me anyway."
Master Chief voicing in the games is STEVE DOWNES whilst in the web-series is ALEX PUCCINELLI (name listed in the credits).
In July 2012, at San Diego Comic-Con (SDCC), 343i/Microsoft explained why the Master Chief voicing in the web-series is different from the games’ voice... you will find their answers in their SDCC Q&am...
Kelly is FIIIINE... plus, she is a Spartan.
The pre-order numbers are based on Xbox 360 versus Xbox 360... that is Halo 4 XBOX 360 and Black Ops II XBOX 360. The 1,101,749 for Black Ops II excludes the counts for PS3 and PC versions; therefore, in the pre-order arena on the Xbox 360 platform, Halo is losing by 100,592 units.
But as the author says, "this is subject to change in the coming weeks." Again, the pe-order numbers are not indicative of the overall sales in units. Overall, Black Ops II will sale more...
I wish you well. I too am learning 3D Modeling and Animation in Blender (self-learning)... I'm quite enjoying it though there's quite a learning curve. I've always had interest in 3D Art and Animation... who knows where this may lead me to(LOL)
No, I don't know "those things"... this is all speculation of what I THINK probably went down and BELIEVE it has nothing to do with Microsoft's lack of care for exclusives.
Microsoft lost the rights to Mass Effect when Bioware got bought. The only thing Microsoft could claim (excluding the two future installments) was the Mass Effect 1 title; besides, they funded the development and marketed it... Microsoft needed their investment to pay off for a timed excl...
NO, the loss of Mass Effect isn't indicative of Microsoft’s lack of care for exclusives. There's so much we don't know that goes behind the scenes in the games industry. I'm sure some serious business talks happened between Microsoft and Electronic Arts about the original Mass Effect when Bioware was bought... they must have agreed on a timed console exclusivity before Electronic Arts could acquire the rights of the original.
Whatever the case, Microsoft can...
If Valve Software sold, every single gamer out there would seriously HATE them... I would be leading the rage to their office with an AXE in hand wanting Gabe's head (LOL).
Gabe has done an amazing job with Valve. The company started out as a developer... they were doing just great with their library of games. But with the successful development and implementation of Steam, they are their own publisher. Valve Software is a success story that should be left alone to operat...
If you demonstrate your skill(s) in a particular area, you can break through in the games industry.
The two Doctors left due to their relationship with Electronic Arts, not negative fan reaction. Ray and Greg are professionals who have contributed a lot to the games industry... being professionals, am positive they probably took criticism from the fans and learned how to better take care and handle future products. I am sure the two (or individually) are planning to open a new company.
When Bioware sold-out, the company gave-away its independence and flexibility of doing th...
Merle Dandridge only gave VOICE to Alyx Vance, NOT MODEL and MOTION captures. It was Jamil Mullen who served as the model and motion actor for Gordon's sidekick. I highly doubt from this mo-cap picture of Merle is Half-Life 3 related.
I really love the Mass Effect universe... the games are GREAT. I have Mass Effect, Mass Effect 2 and Mass Effect 3 on PC (also have them on Xbox 360 excluding the third installment). I'll definitely be getting this Trilogy package for the Playstation 3.
METAL GEAR RISING REVENGEANCE releases February 2013... I am also looking forward to it (to get my slash-on, LOL).
As for me, HALO 4 is my most anticipated game of 2012.
Dishonored borrows/uses ideas from the likes of Bioshock, Thief and Deus Ex series, but it's not a knock-off... the game has its own identity. Besides, some of them people working on this game are made up of those who worked on Bioshock, Thief and Deus Ex.
I believe Dishonored will surprise us in the same way Bioshock did.
abzdine: "yeah but 9 ? are you serious ?"
(LOL) Halo is product, so they'll create/produce it as they see fit and how many gamers are voting with their wallets. Microsoft went to great lengths forming 343 Indusctries, the Halo Company to take over from Bungie Studios. This great length is them knowing the Xbox shouldn't have been a success without Halo. Halo led the success of Xbox. These two products (Xbox and Halo) will always co-exist.

Since 2005, we've had FOUR Halo games; Gears of War, THREE titles; Resistance, FIVE of them; Uncharted, FOUR of them; inFamous, TWO of them; Call of Duty, well lets not even go there (LOL). The point is that all these games we so much love to play are PRODUCTS, and the game companies will keep on creating/producing as many as they want despite what you and I think. WHY? Just because they can... it's their bread and butter.
We've no idea how many Halo, Gears, Uncha...
Obviously, game companies have their Research and Development teams working on current and future technologies.
Yes, your understanding about the tech being for Nvidia GPUs is CORRECT. You can only stream gaming off Nvidia Kepler-based GeForce GTX-powered PCs. Just like you, ALL my PCs are AMD-powered; therefore, we are not in favour. But if my PC was Nvidia-powered, I would get this device primarily for streaming my games off my PC and secondary for Android gaming off Google Play and NVIDIA TegraZone.
