I know, what i'm saying is it's a lousy attempt to do so. One of the PS+ selling points or perks if you will, is exclusive Beta access right? So how are these new customers going to feel when they find out that it's only available to 5000 members, i'm sure there are way more than 5000 PS+ subscribers in the USA...
To be fair, the Betas are not the main point of PS+, but it's certainly still not doing the new service any favours as far as a reputation is ...

Of course this doesn't apply to me since I live in EU, and am not a PS+ subscriber, I would become a + subscriber if I thought it'd get me into the beta, but there's a good chance one may have got PS+ for this beta access and still not get in! I would be outraged if I were yo...
I hadn't played many FPS when I got KillZone 2, it was perhaps my 3rd ever FPS game (first was MOH: Rising Sun, and the second: The Orange Box). So I found it pretty good, fairly decent story but it just didn't progress much, it was pretty cool when Radec and the Helghast stormed the ISA fleet and that dude with the long hair got killed... but that's about the only story changing event that happened.

Why people are saying they would get PS+ for Xgame chat i'll never know. You must be real pushovers in reality, because why would you pay for something that we were led to believe would be free (and is wayyyyyy overdue to boot)?
Yep pretty much hit it there, i'm not a massive football fan, I just like it and that's about as far as it goes. So I have not played since FIFA 97 on the PS1, and now I can really see why this game gets so much praise.
The amount of customization, and sheer value you get is insane.

Yay! We are back to where we were plot wise some four odd years ago -_-, and besides that 2 games in 4 years is not really enough to hold my interest in the plot anyway, don't even get me started on KH3DS
No you don't, you have a fairly boring top down racer with next to none of the fun, the Micro Machines games actually had. The same goes to just about anything that's been made so far.
That FPS Viatnam level for example, it's no where near as good and fun to play as an actual FPS Game (except maybe Haze :D).
Impressive that people can make this stuff sure, but I just don't see the point in playing recreations of racers when there are very good ones...
Ah well, at least i'll have the beta untill then.

Ever since I got a laptop, I have never even considered using the PS3 browser, why for the love of all that is good, would I now use it just because it has an extra feature.. Armaches
