World at War was IMO the best COD game well, ok maybe not the best but IMO it was my favourite one to play at least. And that is why I hoped Black Ops would be good, it's a shame that it's horrid.
Your suggesting that it's ok if a game is not great if they fix it at some point? You might be a big pushover in real life, but I would like to think that if i'm buying a game for £40+ it'd better be really good, if it's not then of course i'm not going to be happy with it.
I don't understand why people are moaning about the damage?
GT5:P Didn't have any damage at all but it's still my current favourite racer so the fact there is damage of any king in GT5 is ok for me.
The damage isn't great in effect but it's there, for the first time in GT history, and that combined with everything else makes GT5 look to be the best GT game.
Yeah it makes much more sense to compare a motion tracking device to a racing simulator than another motion tracking device... Looses on both fronts anyway btw.
It's confirmed to have Move support, it uses it as a steering wheel by tracking it.
So for all the game brings, you're suggesting that because you can't change the rims it's worse than gt4? riiiightt
Yes but even for all the standard cars, it's GT with better graphics, pysics, weather cycles, day night cycles, online play, track editor etc... Sounds great to me.
What excactly is the difference between S/P cars? Is it just the dashboard view and rims?
Well they certainly didn't spend 5 years making the game 3D compatible, head tracking, a track editor, dynamic weather / day and night cycles, over 1000 cars (rims or no rims, it's 1000 cars), an online mode, 1080P and 60 F.P.S, adding go karting, Nascar races and more I can't think of right now...
BTW i'm not "defending" this news, it does suck yes but it certainly is nothing compared to how impressive the rest of the game is looking.
Like a track editor?
$160?!? They retail for £80 here in England. Anyway do you have any opinion on the wheel at all? I'm going to get one the second a date for GT5 is announced as they look like a great alternative to more expensive wheels...
Well I just got back from refunding my coopy, the game is pretty bad.
As much as I want GT5 you can always trust Sony to mess up the release of anything even semi important this gen.
PS3 version works fine for me, a little lag / slowdown at the more hectic moments though.
Ah don't worry, we have Jersey Shore over here too :P any other offers? :]
On topic: Will prolly watch this, nothing else on TV on thursday evenings anyways :/
60 million divided by 3 is 20 million... Nope still impressive numbers to me :)
Why even think about midnight launches when it doesn't even have a release date yet?
Giving it a miss too... Using the money saved to go toward a Driving Force GT for GT5. Not that I think Black Ops is bad at all... Looks better than MW2 even but there will be a new COD next year whereas GT5 has taken 5 years or something.
I will get Black Ops, but it can wait, heck i'll try and see if someone will pick it up for me for XMAS and if not i'll pick it up in January at some point.
I quite like HHG's videos. they are good and informative for a casual like myself... At least this one was.
PS Move is a success and i'd much rather know how they are going to build on the success of that than the PSP which is getting old now.
I mean they can't just launch the Move well and hope that devs make good games for it can they? It must have more functionality somehow...
I mean how about to draw stuff on the screen during a video chat for instance, or picking items to turn the Move into on screen.... Or something actually good? XD
I thought it was only the rims? You can still change the tyres as far as I know from sport / racing soft etc. The title is a bit misleading if that's true...
