Well yeah maybe, but we've been waiting for five years (apparently) for GT5... By the logic of them doing that to make up for the wait, i'd expect GT5 to come with a cheap car :D.
Ok that was a silly exaggeration, but still... £2000+ HDTVs for just four months delay, really? I see why they might have done it, but it's still pretty crazy and overshadows MS giving away a couple of games.
Excactly what I thought, then again Sony gave away Bravia HDTVs in London with the first few PS3S (I kid you not, virgin mengastores I believe were the ones to do it and with a free taxi home too!) which takes the proverbial biscuit for incentives to buy a PS3 (this was in 2007 when Bravias costed MORE than 3DTVs do now).
I will remember that day always, I paid £500 for mine and got F all for free, these douches paid the same and got a freakin' TV...

I haven't played Forza (as I don't have an xbox 360) but don't forget GT5 also has head tracking, 3d display / 1080P native display, a track editor, dynamic day / night / weather effects and more that I can't even think of right now... Now I may be wrong, but as far as I know this is what GT fans are saying makes it better than Forza.
Heck if I know though, I like all games and would like to be able to play Forza, it's just that I only really need one game...
It wasn't that good, it was just the best launch game (though Ridge 7 was better IMO as racers go). The series has gradually got better though, it's improved and this looks like the best of the series so far.
And? 200 cars is still 100 more than a game needs, plus there are 1000+ not 200

The silence from Sony is worrying, they said we'd have a new date by the end of the month, meaning the end of October... It's almost the end of November the 1st now :/. I know it's technically only 1 day late but still... I already have little faith in Sony / PD getting the game out this year and it's really not helping.
BTW.. a lot of websites (as in retailer sites) are reporting december the 1st...

Also, this game has the worst multiplayer it was ever my misfortune to play. I feel for the Black Ops developers too (I don't play COD anymore and really don't even know who is making it), I imagine MW2 has thrown at least a good few away from the series, meaning less sales for B.O
Just get a cheap 2nd hand old school PSP. that's what I did just to play the newer PSP games like Kingdom Hearts / God of War... Works just fine and the PSP was just over the price of a standard PS3 Game (£50) :]
I'll probably buy it, MW2 has put me "on the fence" as it were but there's a pretty good chance i'll be getting it anyway...
Althought the point of it is to show the growth in visuals between Prolouge and GT5... Which since we're on the subject is (IMO) not a big difference. However the difference is in GT5 having OVER 9000!!! (sorry) times the content of GT5:P.
