It doesn't seem to be that way, I was just driving a Ferrari 512 and that damage was easily much more visible than any other premium car I have yet driven. Even then, it was sometimes getting small dents from huge smashes but just for clipping the AI was demolishing the front end completely >.> the damage needs work pure and simple.

There's room for improvement, and I genuinely do HATE the Nascar racing but other than that it's a very good game.
No it's not, I heard the game doesen't even have leaderboards, I haven't even tried to play it online yet and possibly never will
It's not though IMO, I hyped this game like mad and it's exactly what I expected it to be, as a driving games fan, i'm pretty happy that my console now has a driving sim that reviews have said is the best driving sim available on consoles.

There is nothing wrong with the menu system, you scroll to an option and click it, what more could you possibly have than that?
Also they say it's the best simulator, but not the best game...
God of War 3 should have been a 4 at max then, it's a very good action game but overall as a game it's too short... the same logic applies.

I hope so, and i'd rather ND did it, but all they have to do is go back to the roots of the series. 5 warp rooms, 5 levels in each all with kick ass platforming and some of the most interesting boss battles this side of Metal Gear. These games were my childhood, and I can't bear to see the series degrade anymore than it already has. (If that is possible?)
I thought PS3 had a 10 year life plan? It seems to me like GT6 could (in theory) make it to the PS3. Then again, if they start GT6 with the next Sony console in mind then maybe it won't be too long into the (PS4?) lifespan when GT6 comes out.
Besides GT5 is enough, the game is absolutely mind blowing and nothing (besides a few iffy effects like the shadows) has disappointed me. Sure the visuals could be slightly improved, but as it is what it is: a very good game.
I just flipped a car for he first time (by accident)... It's really quite terrifying especially if it were to happen at the end of a long race.

OR not, you see GT fans aren't as sad as you. For we are enjoying our game, forza's not that good if you are on here reading GT5 articles is it?
And anyway the graphics in GT5 are freakin' good! The damage models on the premium cars is really good, bits come off, scrathes, dents etc (there's even a trophy for having a piece fall off and the pieces stay on the track) and the interior views are just as impressive (the shadows granted are jaggie I will give that).
But i'm telling you now, i'm watching a replay whilst writing this comment and it looks fantastic. The standard cars look really good too, not ...
