I think the problem is people don't want to wade through the bad indie games to find the diamonds in the rough.

PS4 version looks ever so slightly better. Not being biased, I'm not getting it for either platform as I'm waiting for the PC version in January but from those screenshots the PS4 version looks a tiny bit better.
... I mean yeah, why would multiplatform games not be able to run on mid range PC hardware?
This is the kind of optimization that should be standard, high end PCs right now are really geared toward 1440P or even 4K resolutions. But playing current gen games in 1080P at around 60 FPS should not require you have a high end rig, should it?

Such a good games line up for the time. Just wish the picture on a HDTV would still work. Mine looks awful even using the Gamecube Scart instead of the weird aerial cable the N64 has.

No they shouldn't. If you can do it free on a Japan account, you should be able to do it free on any PSN account.
Plus I know for a fact that Sony do not ban individual accounts, or IP addresses. They ban your entire console, presumably the MAC address of your console.

Its a bad year for gaming when the annual COD game turns out to be one of the better games of the year. At least with that you know what to expect when you buy it, but all these games on that list (and Driveclub, my personal most disappointing game of the year) just tried to do too much and crumbled under their own weight.

PC and Wii U are my primary platforms. I pretty much just use PS4 for exclusives only.
In fact, I'd recommend any system to any gamer really. There are pros and cons to each and every current system and handheld. You won't be disappointed this gen whatever you choose to game on.
