It was a huge disappointment but that doesn't mean it was a bad game. It just means it was a disappointment, I don't remember anyone really disliking the game, just a bunch of hate for Ubisoft's crappy way of handling it. (which one of the five collector editions did you buy?)
But when a game is hyped up to the point of being the first truly amazing next generation experience and ends up being an okay game that shows signs of promise, that's what makes it a hu...
I find your lack of faith disturbing.
Yeah, how dare they be excited that a game they have waited for for ten years is finally releasing?!
Everything considered, there is a new Star Wars film AND Battlefront coming out in the fall of this year, exciting times for fans.... Even if either or both turn out disappointing, its difficult not to be excited right now.
Asus GTX 970 STRIX here.
I don't even know what that is but it's in my PC and the article says it's good for 1080P 60FPS so I'm cool with that.
This might be crazy talk but if I was making a game, I would develop it for the most powerful hardware and then when porting it to other systems, I would just scale it back enough so that it runs well on that hardware. So no, the best hardware wouldn't be held back.
I don't know if that's a thing that developers actually do but it seems like it would make the most sense to me.
I got it on PC.
You get this for free if you have Basement Crawl (which apparently was pretty bad). That's fair enough I suppose.
Not as much as forcing ND to release it in an unfinished / rushed state would have done.
"A delayed game is eventually good, but a rushed game is forever bad" ~ Shigeru Miyamoto
And also... You'd think Uncharted was the only exclusive Sony had planned for 2015 or something. There's already been a few exclusives this year, not to mention what is still to come.
And besides exclusives, there are a fantastic lineup of multiplats coming as well.....
It had an official 2015 release window, yeah.
to be fair I would say the same thing to console gamers who say gaming PCs are too expensive.
Yeah! And then we can bring Warcraft, Elite Dangerous, ETS2, Assesto Corsa, Cities Skyline, Ori etc over to the PS4 as well... Or even the Wii U because everyone should be able to play all games no matter what system they have according to the petition.
There's exclusives on all platforms, deal with it. No one started any petitions to bring Mario 3D World to PC did they? (actually they probably did to be fair lol)
Exactly. Its not like Arkham Knight, MGSV, Bloodbourne, the Order, Ratchet And Clank, Dying Light aren't all out this year or anything... And those are just some of the first PS4 games that came to my mind, that's not even including new games on other platforms.
Very much recommend Lego City Undercover on Wii U :)
Agreed. I would have rather paid £50-100 more for my PS4 at launch to have included B/C. then I could have just sold my PS3 to make up the difference.
But no, Sony decided that I didn't want that.
B/C was one of the things I loved about the original fat 60GB PS3. Because that had very few games worth getting for a while too but at least I had fun playing GTA:SA and stuff on it while waiting and wasn't charged £40 a pop for the privilege.
Probably because those particular remastered happened early on. Now everything is getting remastered I guess people are getting a bit sick of buying all their games twice.
It was confirmed they are making a new PS4 game months before this remaster was announced.
I remember when GOW3 came out and people were like "OMG IMAGINE WHAT IT WOULD LOOK LIKE ON PS4?!" now it's coming to PS4 and people are hating it. Superb!
Did you buy it to have it sit and collect dust for two years while you wait for new games to come out for it?
Because they aren't available on current gen and now they will be.
Great. I don't see why people are saying "WE WANT NEW IP AND SEQUELS!!!"
You're getting those too...
Are they or are they not also releasing Arkham Knight? That's a new game.
Same with GOW3, Halo etc, I don't see how it's a bad thing when it's already been confirmed they are working on other projects as well.
I don't think Konami will regret it.
They clearly don't care about gaming any more anyway.
