Fake and gay...
Well not really, but yeah the video does not work.
Much like how this is coming out the same day as Arkham City, and even that is only weeks away from Uncharted 3 and Skyrim >.>.
Lets be real though, this game was doomed right from the start.
why take a series that is known for solid Single Player action platforming and put a multiplayer spin on it?
Like the review says, its a side project.. Heck, it could have just been a PS Store release like Q4B
Why not? It saves money on the DLC price and alerts you as soon as it is available... Not a bad deal if you ask me.
PSN Pass is a lot worse of an idea... I mean damn, they might as well just start charging for PSN and be done with it than keep sidestepping it with rubbish moves like that.
Yeah that is one thing I have kind of not liked so much about this gen of consoles, the amount of DLC being released is making it more expensive than it should be. Then again I suppose you get what you pay for with everything else so it should apply to gaming too...
I dont think Naughty Dog could mess up anything to be honest... I mean no one could imagine they would end up making Uncharted back when Crash Bandicoot was their Nathan Drake... So who knows what will be next for them?
Cause that video was a small area and actually was Crysis just with Oblivion music.
To make a game the size and scale of Skryim or Oblivion with those kinds of visuals would be a big taks right about now, even it it were a PC exlusive
Its all realism until someone shoots a fireball out of their bare hands.
Honestly, it is impressive but I kind of do not want games to look this good, that might sound a bit strange but think about it... If a game looks that real, then EVERYTHING has to looks and feel as real as the game looks or it just will not work IMO.
I mean imagine if Modern Warfare 2 looked like that but still played like it did... Does anyone else not think that would just feel strange?
It will probably just come down to preference in the end.
Both look on par in terms of being top quality games made with care. But what will tip Arkham City over Uncharted 3 for some will be their love for the Batman franchise.
Ah come on, people make a song and dance about sales figures... You should not be surprised that people like to brag because a game exclusive to "their" system is awarded GOTY
You are buying MW3 over Arkham City? Pardon the suggestion, but if money is a little tight, you may want to consider investing it a little bit more wisely =P
Haha yeah, it always happens in MW2, I mean that game is nearly two years old... Its not that far out of the question that someone could reach tenth by now if they really wanted to...
They gave it a 99 which seems to be the highest they can give , I didn't look at anything else though, too close to bother spoiling it now...
Actually, I usually do see a good few when it is about an exclusive game / piece of tech.
Just that the multiplatform games seem to be advertised as 360 games with a little bit of print saying "alsoavaialbleforps3andpc justincaseyouwantedtopossiblypl ayonsomethingelse"
Its because then they can use the buzz-term "cinematic" it sounds good but it stands for game you watch, and play a bit...
well a 1-10 scale does not necessarily have to mean that the 10 represents perfection, just because it is the highest score they allow, a 10 would just mean they thought it was amazing.
If I genuinely thought it was flawless and could not be improved in any way, I would mention that in the review and award it a ten. If I thought it was still a very special game, but with nitpicking flaws I would mention that and if it was nothing too serious, award it a 10.
OH wow, experience plus money is increased to 110%, good time to make use of that race save feature.
And did anyone else get gifted a Red Bull X2010?!
Very happy chapppy!
Is this the one which allows save game during endurance races?
Hell yes! I mean, no disrespect to the 3DS, it is a great and fun handheld but I feel I must use it to argue how patience is a virtue!
Launch price £219 (released in March)
How much are they sold for now in a big name retailer like GameStation? £130 for a brand new one... I mean come on, that is nearly £100 cheaper, and that money can be used to buy the good games that are now available but were not at launch too.
Its actually very easy to save quite a lot of money these days. Everything is so ridiculously expensive that cutting down on spending on pretty much anything can save a lot in the long run.
This is actually pretty sweet, worth checking out if you dont have Netflix / gamefly
