Yep the online has been out for 24 hours+ and not a single one of my real or even PSN friends have been able to get it to work at all.
You get the intro if you play a solo session but the first race won't load and it boots you out. Or you try to join a game and just get an error straight away.

Yep I got banned from PSN for a week and it was an entire console ban, not even an IP ban.

There may be an explanation though, we don't know the context... It might be one of the characters have an ability which reduces damage for instance.

COD only have a year ( or like 6-8 months) to generate hype for each installment. GTA V has been building momentum for years.
I have no doubt it will be the biggest videogame release in history, especially with the pressure on it to be amazing since some fans were disappointed with IV... Might be a bit of a stretch calling the the single biggest entertainment release in history though.
I wasn't too fussed about GTA V before but within the past week the hype has been building and now it's just bloody painful waiting the last five days.
