Some games are getting downgraded for dlc later. We made it possible gamers. Lets keep pretending that dlc is really just extra content made later for the fans.
No demo and no tac is the reason I stop playing cod. Tac is the only thing that saves you in a game with random noobs that suck.
Yes, both PSX and PS2 held back graphics in some ways, but they both made up for it with their unmatched diverse library of games compared to the competition. Can you say the same about Xbox One? So far I would say no.

The "resolution war" was settled a long time ago. Way before both consoles even existed. Just because a certain fanbase is having a hard time dealing with facts doesn't make it a war. That's just denial. Saying it doesn't matter to you doesn't make 720p, 900p and 1080p equal.

Games would be a lot better judging by the PS1 and PS2 generations. Developers would mostly compete on one platform making harder to get away with the lackluster innovation that we see in most multiplatform games today. Most games would be twice as good. Look at the PS1 and PS2 generation. We would also get more diversity in different genres.
I feel like some developers get a little overwhelmed when going multiplatform too. That's mainly why exclusives for consoles shine ...

I'm sorry but, didn't Xbox fans use this same reasoning as to why Xbox One would be more powerful than PS4 before they released. Now Xbox One turned out weaker and can't do 1080p with next gen games.
