Starting this month there's nothing but quality realeases until end of 2015 that we know of so far. Give it time. More interesting looking games are coming.

Xbox One is getting beat in it's home territory with Sony slowly extending their lead every month. Tell me exactly what you're expect from "29 more Countries" where Xbox One will most likely continue to be outsold 3:1 or greater outside of US and UK?
It makes absolutely no sense to own two consoles that will share 90% of the same games. PS4+WiiU makes sense, Xbox One+WiiU makes sense and even one these consoles with a PC makes sense. Xbox One+PS4 makes absolutely no sense. If I was had to choose a combo of two gaming systems, It would be either PS4+WiiU or PS4/WiiU+PC.
He's talking about next year, so your imaginary Gears of War reveal and date announcement doesn't count and scalebound release date haven't even been announced. He clearly left out some indies out on both sides, but even if he did add all the indies and f2p games, Xbox One lineup would look even more pathetic compared to PS4.
2015 will be a blood bath. Think of all unannounced PS4 games also. MS simply can't compete with Sony exclusives lineup.
Edit: I forgot SOMA was coming to PS4. PS4 will be unstoppable next year.

It doesn't really make sense to release it on Xbox One only imo. Xbox One install base is the smallest compared PS4, PC and WiiU. A argument could be made for Xbox 360 and Xbox One release though. I don't think a port would be worth it for SE.
@ aceitman You're right, It's not even in the top 100. I don't think SO will sell well. If they can't sell it with the white Xbox One, I don't think there's much hope for the actually game to sell well.
The SO Xbox One bundle is currently sitting at 81 on Amazon, compared to white Destiny PS4 at 13. According to Amazon people want the Madden and COD X1 bundles more. I'm not sure people are buying into the SO hype.
Xbox One will be missing yet another very interesting looking game. MS is getting smoked by Sony when it comes to these unique games.
Edit: At least we don't have to worry about resolutiongate with Xbox One out of the picture. No parity, full 1080p 60fps.
It seems that the 10 million PS4's sold news hit some fanboys pretty hard. The meltdowns and trolling since the announcement has been incredible.
Truly pathetic. But what do I know. 29 countries says the Xbox fanboy. Xbox One confirmed DOA in Japan. Where to next for the console that can't sell well outside of US and UK.
