He actually recommends buying the game.
Edit: @disagrees and below, "If you did play the original and enjoy returning to great old games, this will NOT disappoint, especially as it will be available for free to those who bought the PS3 version."
I'm watching polygon closely too, but this guy seems legit in this article.
So he doesn't want to ruin his nostalgia memory of his first playthrough. Fair enough. I'll try it out for the first time on PS4 though.
Rime is not a indie game.
That would be terrifying beyond anything I've ever experienced in a video game. I plan to buy Morpheus, but I wouldn't play this game with it. A lot people would complain that it's too disturbing.
Can become the scarest game of a few generations if that teaser is anything to go by. I had to turn on some lights after playing this game for so long with headphones on.
I need morpheus VR now.
Respect to Phil Spencer for clarifying. Screw SquareEnix.
TR on all three platforms wouldn't outsell Uncharted 4 on PS4 alone. Also, ND vs CD lmao.
Makes outlast feel like a colorful cartoon in comparison.
That would be too disturbing. I would be too scared to play this. I'm not afraid to say it. I think the game will be a mix of first person and third person. So Morpheus might not work. Which is best for everyone. lol
This is gamingbolt trolling. I believe Sony is the published this playable teaser.
My heart rate went up even when knowing what would happen.
@BBBQ, I gave up waiting on a phone ring too. You can only be so patient in that creepy endlessly looping hallway for so long. I'm playing with headphones in the dark. I only can take so much of a random ghost stalking me around every corner.
@Neonridr, I'm sorry but even a TR exclusive is not enough for me to support a gaming company that almost ruined gaming as we know it by introducing very anti-consumer policies. No amount of games or exclusives will make me look past that.
It's the majority of their fanbase complaining. What other reaction did anyone expect from this announcement.
When even Xbox fans are confused about this, you know some poor decisions were made somewhere.
I'm not surprise by this. What other kind of reaction did they expect when they decided to shaft the majority of their fans.
Why release exclusively on your worst performing platform? PC and PS4 had better sales. That's the majority of your fanbase gone for a quick buck.
It means Tomb Raider will be missing around 70% of It's total fanbase(according to PS and PC sales data). This deal is good for a quick buck, but terrible for fans of series.
@Eonjay, "why would he not want to play again?" He explains it in the article. He says he doesn't want it to sour his memories of one the best games he's ever played.
I do blame polygon for allowing some of their staff to express extreme bias towards MS.
