E3 could significantly affect the outcome of this competition between these two games.
If for example the press gives all the awards especially in the SP and more importantly the MP portion for FPS to BF3 over MWF3 then BF3 is going to have a huge chance to challenge MWF3 commercially.
EA will market the hell out of any awards BF3 get over MWF3.
