As a hardcore PS fans since the PS1 it never mattered to me. It didn't matter in the PS1 nor the PS2 and is the same for the PS3 era.
We all knew that the PS3 will eventually sell the units Sony were looking for which is irrelevant to gamers like me.
We also knew that Sony will have quality exclusives and 3rd parties as was expected which is the most important thing.
Sony will most likely sell another 23 million to reach the 100 million m...

It's not the console price that is a matter. It's the game prices. So many time i am tempted but i look at the price of a PS3 vs PSV game price and i normally choose the PS3 game because they are almost the same.

GeoW and Uncharted came out less than a year apart. The cover system is a huge system for both games and i think they were developed independently.
You guys should watch the romancing the stone to get where i think uncharted or at least where nathan was inspired from.
Yes Uncharted was inspired also by 19030's period adventure movies like Indiana.
Gameplay and character wise the two games are worlds apart. TR is a exploration/puzzle solving game which Uncharted is not.
