Sony has proven yet again that they SUPPORT their console with GAMES. As such i will always buy their console because i buy them to play games.
I have the original 60 giger, the slim and the super slim.
I can safely say that it has been mostly a downgrade. The original 60 giger has all with 4 USB port, BC, Card slot etc.
The only advantage of the newer models is that they are smaller and quieter.
I upgrade my galaxy every year at 700 plus unlocked. As such even if the PS4 cost 700 it is a steal for me considering that it will last 10 years and it is the center of my home entertainment.
I know this is just me but i want the greatest and best tech in my console. I want it to be AC wifi and those high capacity blu ray with a very powerful cpu/gpu and 16gig ram etc etc.

I buy a new smartphone every year unlock at 700 plus so paying 700 plus for the PS4 that will last me at least 7 years is more than worth it for me.
exactly. At this stage i am still excited about upcomming PS3 games like i was back in 2007. Sony just keeps giving and make hardcore gamers happy and to me that is what matters.

Last gen the xbox was 2nd place and now it will end up last this gen.
Sony was never going to be able to dominate this gen like with the PS2 as MS with their deep pockets and lessons learned from last gen would always pose a huge threat. Then offcourse the success of the wii which no one saw coming.

Yes but get a PS3. There are so many exclsuive games you can enjoy at a fraction of their original cost.
