Nobody but delusional fanatics thought FS's new IP was Bloodborne.
It was clearly either a Tenchu game or a new IP.
Thank god it isn't too btw. You can't recapture the moment of BB by making a sequel, it's just more BB, nothing is a mystery anymore, even if it's new boss skins.
If you want that feeling, you MUST have a new ip, a new universe, a new mystery.
Thank god FS seems to know this considering ...
They're not dead, the market is just saturating properly. People like both SP and MP, and there needs to be content for both crowds for things to balance itself.
30 years ago there wasn't the internet, ofc there wasn't going to be online multiplayer on the NES... But now that there is, it's good to see there's a bit of something for everyone.
I do think multiplayer is going to be a much bigger part of video game's future though, it...
Why? It's a modern game that relates on many mechanical levels to other modern games, and it's one of the most difficult if not the most difficult games.
..Why does everyone have to keep comparing difficulty to NES games, that were nearly impossible by limitations of hardware, and because the games were so short, if they weren't difficult, you'd beat most of them in 45 minutes.
TBH I suggest everyone check out this video and it explains a lot, it basically paints 343 as complete retards who didn't, "get", the source material, and just decided to copy modern trends.

BTW: 2:25. Final Fantasy 15's bane. I know it's not related, but 80% of that game's story being in a fucking wiki was GARBAGE!!!!
Meh, another, "walk a block, talk to character/self, kill a wave, watch cutscene", game.
..Hoppin back into WOT.
Yea it could have been coming a long time, but I sort of recall the Pokemon company not believing that the Switch would be successful, and since it was announced in a drawing board room with not even any music to show, I got the impression it was very early development.
But that's not really evidence of anything just conjecture on my part.
Hope it's good though, I haven't enjoyed Pokemon games since FireRed. I REALLY want to enjoy a new one......
It's not just nostalgia. Every decade has it's own flavor and trends that you'll likely never see again in your life.
80's had many gritty dungeon crawlers, action hero shooters, challenging platformers and dungeons and dragons adaptations. Short but extremely challenging titles.
90's had many JRPG coming of age, light hearted romance adventure games. And also what I like to call the, "wacky age", of gaming where you got epic...
It's possible, Pokemon games don't take them that long to make.. But I'm worried it won't be taking full advantage of the Switch if it's so soon after that basic drawing room announcement..
But who knows, Nintendo is surprising the fuck out of me this gen.
It must hurt to be an idiot.
:O looks awesome. Might hop back into PUBG and give BR another go. >:D
Hate seeing this game get talked about. Every time it shows up it's a painful reminder that the team behind Halo1-3 is gone forever.
Don't expect much. They shelved Deus Ex, they canned the Hitman franchise and dev team. They're likely 5 years away from FF7-remake.
Probably more scammy FF15, "incomplete game", 30 dollar DLC.
I wonder how much that game will cost by the end of the generation, just for it's 1 game?
200 bucks?
Glad to see PS3 emulation finally starting to make some ground, in a few years we may finally see a viable emulator for people to use. >:D
Don't expect much personally. Looked like a cool sandbox to run around in for a few dozen hours, but Xbox really needs more than that right now.
Delusional.
Not wanting reality is a tough struggle bud. I feel you though I ship Naruto/Sakura.
But more multiplayer is coming whether you like it or not bud.
Your right, it was worse than crap.
Outside of in-engine graphic fidelity The Order 1886 was a horrible game, one of this generation's worst. I'm not saying Deformers was a blockbuster hit, or that great, but it was at least more of a game than 1886's CGI hallway was.
This is what I'm super interested in. Intelligent AI that can think for itself. Talk to you, interact with you, make their own decisions.
THAT is what REAL next gen is about, even if it takes 100 years. "Or lets be honest, at the rate AI is evolving alongside technology, probably 10-20 years, even if it's in a limited form."
What part of this image is NSFW?
...That image looks SFschool.
