The main SoC in the system getting a die-shrink wouldn't hurt, either.
Same lol. I'm kind of a germophobe so I always just bring my own pads if I have them. And touching controllers at public kiosks is always a no-no for me.
That gif sums up my feelings on modern day gaming pretty well.
Syphon Filter is still one of my all-time favorite series ever, definitely my fav. series on PS1. Would love to see a new game but the series is most likely dead for good -_-.
Lol that's a lie. Far Cry 3 was a gaming evolved title, yet Nvidia cards either matched or surpassed AMD equivalents in it. There are countless other examples of this as well, including cases where equivalent AMD cards performed better than their Nvidia counterparts in TWIMTBP titles.
As for all the fanboy drivel in this article...LOL @ people for giving in to corporate marketing and "picking sides" as if these companies actually care about you.
Of course 3 moron elitists vote me down but none of them offer anything to the contrary to disprove me (because they can't, because I'm right :D.)
CD Projekt Red aren't the type of devs to skimp out and dumb stuff down to a laughable point. If the X1 and PS4 couldn't give them the power they wanted to display their upcoming game in a positive enough light, they wouldn't be bothering bring the games to those platforms. You can sip as much of Lord Gaben'...
Less OS overhead is only one small facet of it. The consoles have superior API's in general that frees up a lot of resources and lets them get the full potential out of the GPU's they're using. They don't have to deal with crap like D3D11 or anything.
@LightofDarkness
Not really. You can get an i5 with an unlocked multiplier and just save over a $100 instantly because those extra SMT threads you get with the i7 won't help you at all on modern PC games. Most games today use either D3D9 or D3D11 as the rendering backend and thus they aren't really properly optimized for CPU multithreading anyway.
Stuff that is (traditionally) CPU-oriented like A.I., some physics calculations, audio, draw calls to th...
Haha I can see 'Taker, Kane, Ted DiBiasse, Cena and a few others from the WWE Brawl game. Sick art. Game looks like it would've be cool.
I love it when people claim they don't care yet they waste time telling others about it.
Looks like a placeholder date to me.
I think everyone is already "over" your worthless opinion ;).
Nice "article". It's literally just two short paragraphs with no actual facts to back up their speculation.
Nah there's no Mantle support in this one. D3D only.
I don't think this will be for the Vita, most likely it's a placeholder name for the upcoming single-player DLC that's coming to GTA V for PS3/PS4/360/X1/PC. I guess since it's called "Los Santos Stories" the DLC will feature new playable characters. Pretty sweet if true.
I remember playing this on local co-op with some friends a few years back. This sucks. I don't see why they're taking this down, it was one of the best old-school styled beat-em-ups I'd played in ages. Definitely gave me that River City Ransom vibe and it was even better because we were all fans of the 2010 movie.
*Sigh* this is yet another reason why I don't fully embrace an all-digital future. Back in the late 90's or even early 00's you could'v...
A True Crime 3 would be nice but Sleeping Dogs is basically the spiritual successor. Had a blast with Streets of L.A. back in the day.
I didn't say anything about it releasing in 2016, now did I?
The evidence I was talking about is the fact that Nintendo and AMD have had a long-standing relationship that spans all the way back to the original Gamecube (even though it was ATi who bought out the group who made the GC's GPU, but still.) Nintendo has been using ARM since the original GBA and AMD are also coming up with their own ARMv8 processor architecture in 2016.
Doesn't sound l...
Most evidence is pointing towards a new machine from Nintendo.
I gave Rocksmith a try but it wasn't for me, mainly because most of the music didn't really appeal to me lol. I liked maybe 30% of the songs that were on the first game.
It wasn't too much of a problem for me though since I took up guitar before I'd tried the game out, so eh.
