"Strange you mention that, yet millions are happy to have backwards compatibility option, albeit limited to what's being released monthly, it's still a very welcome feature to get."

I'd love to know how you quantified that.
All the future bullshit is already sorely played out.
F**k cancer dude, seriously.
RIP to Michael and sincere condolences to his family and friends.
I still have tons of Tips & Tricks books in my closet lol. They're pretty worthless given the prevalence of the internet, but I guess I keep them for sentimental value...
Man, gaming was so much more mysterious back in the day. Urban legends/myths would get created and people would spend days, sometimes weeks or even months trying to "trigger them" or whatever only to find out it was total BS or just give up lol. Nowadays shit gets debunked almost instantly...
Why introduce it and then discontinue it like two seconds later? Lol wow.
Gone Home wasn't really groundbreaking even with its story. I mean it was okay, but the way people talk about it it's as if they believe no one ever tackled those themes in any form of media before.
Why? Just cause it has boning in it?
Man that game was awesome. Loved how you could recruit and command the various revolutionaries you came across. The squad stuff was great. Intense firefights.
Dino Crisis 2 ending was indeed a cliffhanger but it's kinda resolved if you think about it. Not long before the game ends, you play as Dylan and there's a point where you're escorting Paula. You get into a lab and you see a projection of a man which turns out to be a recording/projection FROM THE FUTURE. That man turns out to be an older Dylan (and as we find out, Paula is Dylan's daughter which is why she calls him "papa" all the time.)
In order f...
Origin is doing just fine.
Windows Store games will fail for an entirely different set of reasons.
Yep, Bad Company 2 still has a lot of servers on PC.
Hardline is almost dead because it sucked, plain and simple. As aiBreeze pointed out, Vietnam (the original one) was a spin-off and was really popular for a long time because it was actually good.
PC gamers in general simply have higher standards than console-only guys, especially a large percentage of the present-day gamers who only recently got into shooters and thus don't really know what makes a l...
When I was a teenager, especially in the mid-teens, I was really into the hardcore competitive "pwn 'em all!" type of gameplay. Now I'm in my mid-20's and I just don't care about that stuff at all lol. I'd say 95% of my multiplayer game-time these last three years alone was literally spent playing co-op or messing around in private lobbies with friends.
There just comes a point where you have no tolerance or desire to be clumped together with a ...
Maybe Activison quietly lost the rights for the Crash IP. Their Tony Hawk rights ran out late last year and they'd originally signed that deal back in 2002 (which is why Tony Hawk 5 was such an abomination, they rushed it out as a last cash grab with no shame.)
Maybe their old Crash deal finally ran out and Sony quietly snatched them up?
CTR pwns Mario Kart. No question about it.
One of my favorite moments was when David Jaffe had a casual sit-down interview with Stephen Totillo a few years back. Stephen had some stupid questions and Jaffe was taking him to task over some of his terribad staff, notably Patricia Hernandez or w/e her name was, because they'd written some stupid article that blatantly misrepresented something Jaffe was working on/had worked on. Just hearing Jaffe verbally annihilating Stephen was too sweet, and you could tell by Stephen's reactio...
I would brother but that doesn't work. I think one of the admins here even admitted it.
Which means that the admins and mods are well aware of all the trash articles that flow thru the site but they don't give a shit about it.

That game basically killed the studio. No idea why it became a PS3 exclusive when it was originally gonna be on both the PS3 and 360.
Eh I dunno about that man, game prices in Canada and Australia are ridiculously insane. Like I'm talking, "how is this even a thing" insane. It's no wonder most people wait for flash sales and GOTY editions these days.
It's beyond absurd. It's like suggesting that PS3 was gonna lose half its userbase once they took away Life With PlayStation.
This is really interesting. Have had a blast with RO2/Rising Storm, so will most likely end up getting this as well.
