"We wouldn’t do anything to sacrifice our creative vision for Overwatch."
Even though they literally just did it yesterday. Are they on PCP over there or what?
RDR's ending was really well done. How the hell would it be on this list? It's objectively NOT bad...
Yeah the super-abrupt ending was clearly setting it up for a direct sequel, but it got canned after there was some re-structuring at IO sadly ;_;.
@Lennox: Implying that sound design isn't an important factor in how good a game is? Come on. Sometimes a character's voice actor can be so good or iconic that they become utterly ubiquitous, and thus essentially BECOMES that character, so it's not a stretch at all to see why fans can be upset when a voice actor is suddenly not there anymore.
To draw a parallel with a different series, it was like when John Chacon wasn't voicing Gabe Logan from Syphon Filter ...
Exactly. You'd find out about such things as other writers being the ones who kept Kojima's whacked-out nonsensical writing in-check for the most part, or at least as best as they could. MGS5 itself is clear evidence of him being a hack, as if MGS4's ridiculous plot wasn't. That whole game was literally just hand-waving every pre-existing plot thread with "nanomachines". Complete crap.
Argumentum ad populum, eh? I love it how when people use said logic to hand-wave criticism, it's okay, but when people do the opposite it's dismissed as "the vocal minority."
It's not a coincidence that he lost all his bubbles so quickly, lol.
They might be putting more work into RE4, since the art assets are a lot older and lower-res than 5 and 6's.
"Pretty sure kinect made more money then ps move (wii clone) and ps vita and ps tv"
[citation needed]
I still have my Glacier Blue GBA and my Ruby Red (think that was the name) GBA SP. Both still work just fine. Spent so many hours playing Megaman and F-Zero on there, lol.
AFAIK the rumor started at Kotaku. Who knows if they have any actual sources or not.
Two things:
1) This article is sensationalist nonsense. The author is throwing a hissy fit over an unsubstantiated rumor that isn't even based in reality.
2) The reporting - if you can even call it that - about this new SKU is absurdly amateurish. Every "source" that talks about it says the new SKU will be 'slightly' more powerful graphics-wise, then says suddenly the thing will be able to play 4K games. Sure, maybe a 2D indie-game, or...
It's been MS's call all these years. Sony was up for it ages ago, in fact there were several PS3 games that had cross-platform with PC.
I recall like 7 or 8 years ago, there was supposed to be a cross-platform arena shooter that would be for PS3, 360, and PC, but it got canned for two reasons: 1) PC guys obviously have a huge advantage due to keyboard/mouse and 2) MS were the only ones who wouldn't allow cross-play with other platforms.
This was ...
Was gonna say you're wrong, but you're right. Look at Call of Duty. In spite of the rampant complaints the games have been getting ever since CoD4, they still manage to push a bazillion units sold per game. Even with the sales dropping year by year, they are still in the millions with ease.
The same will happen with Destiny. The casuals, the cores, even a good deal of people who complained will still plunk down the cash the moment the sequel gets announced. Sadly the ...
Yep, same game -- different company. You'll be seeing articles like this about The Division in about six months' time.
People just love to be unhappy I guess.
The whole purpose of this re-release is to have the games available on PS4 and X1. That's it. Of course they will be rendered at 1080p native and maybe at 60fps. Why wouldn't they? There's not really much reason to do a whole texture overhaul or anything. There's a reason this isn't hitting the PC -- it's the same game, just available on new platforms now. What the hell is there to complain about?
Yeah -- 4K and 60fps? Way more than $1000 lol.
Maybe the people who disagreed... literally merely just disagreed with his statement? lol
I'd never support a dev like this. Remember the controversy with them literally mocking the fanbase for being upset at being ripped off when Bungie announced whatever it was that got everybody riled up a while back? Screw that. Glad I didn't buy the game in spite of countless friends trying to convince me otherwise.
Not really. This isn't the first or last time a game has polarizing scores. Regardless of some click-baiting sites, people are allowed to have their own opinions. I remember Beyond: Two Souls -- that game had very polarizing scores and I remember tons of fanboys on here trying to defend it whilst others took any opportunity to shit on David Cage.
I then played it myself and many of the lower scores were well justified. That game was by no means a masterpiece and by the g...
