I don't get all these weird and bizarre answers from various current and ex- Sony guys. Why can't they just be blunt and say they excluded it mainly for technical reasons? That was the same reason they eventually removed the PS2's Emotion Engine and Graphics Synthesizer chips off the PS3's mobo, in an effort to reduce costs for the system production and make the MOBO smaller and less complex in design. People here seem to think BC is a trivial thing to accomplish as if the PS3...
I was hoping for a more technical answer than a simple "it would be more performance-heavy" :/.
My guess is that the game was coded from the ground up solely for Xbox One and then MS came to them late in development and told them "hey, make this work on Windows 10 with DX12 so we can use it to entice extra proliferation of this OS" and they just opted to retain the temporal reconstruction method because it would've taken too long otherwise to convert ...
"They're so well known that someone who spends half their time on gaming forums where WWE games are a yearly occurance and who is involved in pop culture in general has still never heard of them? Yet I can quickly and easily rattle off other "wrestlers" both new and old?"
Nice red herring. Even if you purport to spend time on gaming forums that might mention every 12 months or so a new WWE game, doesn't mean you suddenly gain credibility in your er...
Let's see what "legendary" means, as per Merriam Webster's dictionary:
1 : of, relating to, or characteristic of legend or a legend
2 : well-known, famous
__
Hmm, and all of those wrestlers and such indeed meet that criteria, not the totally pulled-from-the-bum arbitrary nonsense that you've set out. And the funny thing is that a lot of them ARE well-known outside the biz whether it's by activities...
You yourself admit you know jack shit about the business and then go on to give your own arbitrary definition of what a wrestler has to reach to be considered legendary?? Come on lol. Just because a wrestler is known outside of the biz doesn't mean they're legendary. Have you ever heard of Lou Thesz? No? Doesn't change the fact that he's known as one of the best wrestlers of all time.
Both lol.
@morgan
Yeah he's a huge crybaby, let's just ignore the fact that it's actually OTHER PEOPLE coming to HIM for the interviews and after all these years, in spite of other projects he's been doing that had nothing to do with MGS or Kojima, all they ever ask him about is the MGS controversy. Of frickin' course you're gonna hear him say the same stuff over and over, it's because it's all these braindead interviewers ever ask, as if they're gon...
@Artemidorus
Try to see if you can find Ublock Origin on mobile. Same thing as adblock except better, from what friends tell me lol.
20 disagrees for asking a legit question? Wtf is wrong with these uptight fanboys on this site, lol?
I'm shocked it took them this long to add this feature as well. Been wanting that since early 2008 when I got my first PS3 lol.
How can someone consciously look for an option they don't even know exists yet??
That same thing used to happen on the PS3. Pausing it and starting it up again was the fix, surprised this is still an issue for them after all these years.
Treyarch was never the bad developer. The first game they made in the series was United Offensive, the expansion for CoD1, which was universally hailed as being better than CoD1 as well as still enjoyable a sizable playerbase many years after it came out. Then they made CoD 3 which got a bad rep for unknown reasons. The game's multiplayer was fun as hell -- it had massive maps with up to 24 players on PS3/360 and brought back vehicles from UO. It was basically CoD 2 except way better. Too...
AMD makes great mobile chips but then they get horribly gimped by the terrible configuration choices the OEM's make.
It's just a kickstarter but wow, talk about something that came out of nowhere. Haven't even heard this series mentioned in years.
Still baffles me they ever made that, lol.
Should've just developed it, finished it, then released it with no announcement. But no, let's just announce the project immediately and even let everybody know David Hayter is involved! We definitely won't get a C&D even though we got one last time, suspiciously around the time we announced Hayter was a part of said project!
Great horror games with decent shooting mechanics. Pretty damned underrated, too.
Same here lol. I never took FB seriously, it was always such a droll and absurd example of the folly of the awarenessless masses with their day-to-day. Like why would I care about somebody waking up next to their cat? Why would you take a picture of your meal rather than eating it? It's all so useless lol. Buy hey, people will do as they will...
They can't figure out a way to entice people to buy Shark Cards in the SP, therefore there will never be a SP DLC expansion.
I don't see how you're a die-hard fanboy just because you pay for a re-released game. Are people who buy all these fully-priced remasters fanboys too? Am I a die-hard Sony fanboy because I opted to pay $5.99 to buy Syphon Filter for PS1 off the PS Store years back rather than hunting down a new disc?
PS Now was a crappy service but I don't see a problem with the "PS1/PS2 Classics" line. PS3 emulation isn't a trivial feat to accomplish. 360's arc...
