Every penny I have is permanently banned from going anywhere near this game.
Saw rise yesterday morning. It was pure garbage just like TLJ. Its a sad day when TFA, the most unnecessary SW movie ever made, is the best in its trilogy.
Never got into this series back in the day, and Ive come to find out how much of a damn shame that is. Better late than never, I guess.
Much respect, my friend. Its not often you see people on n4g actually try to see things from another's point of view.
Maybe not to you. It felt terribly rushed and unfinished to me.
The same one everyone else did, where 2nd scenario was just a cheap rehash of the first instead of properly filling out the other character's side of the story like the original did. The one where they over simplified and shortened the opening of the game, one of the coolest aspects in the original. The one where they turned the gator fight into an action set piece. The one where Mr X was merely a device that served only to make an extremely short game, even shorter. I really don't wa...
Hopefully they both abandon the idea of large scale streaming services cause, imo, its just going to kill the quality of the content coming through cause it will be more about filling out the service than making quality products, much like netflix did to movies and tv shows on its service.
BTW are you the same Orionsangel that made that badass bezel pack for retropie? If so, you fucking rock dude. I just wish I could get them to work on my 720p tv.
I was going to say fishy but carppy works as well.
Thats too soon. As unfinished and rushed as RE2 remake felt, I'm really worried about that timeline.
@Lexreborn2
Almost 5 years my ass. The game hit PS4 in June 2017. Thats 2 and a half years with $80 in season passes in the meantime, on top of the $60 price for the game. This deal is officially more expensive than the every-other-year model. Especially when Tekken Tag 2 ultimately had 59 characters with all characters and customisation items that came as dlc came as free dlc. And that game came ONLY two years after Tekken 6 with nearly 20 more characters on the roster. Then we wait...
The only fighting game series I ever saw coming out yearly, ever (besides the first 2 Tekkens), was MK in the ps2 era. It certainly wasn't Tekken after Tekken 2.
@FishTank
Name a Tekken game that only got 2 characters added over the previous game's roster, outside of Tekken 4. Tekken 4 is the black sheep of the series for several reasons, its lack of characters being one of the biggest ones.
The season passes are $25-$30 for 4 characters dude. 4 characters are worth MAYBE $10.
I wouldn't call it content rich either. On release it came with less characters than either Tekken 6 or Tekken tag 2.
I still have 130 something games for the system.
Wheres my Hanukkah theme?
I would like to see this only if Capcom was the developer and only so Netherrealm could see what MK characters look like in action when properly animated.
The switch has as many games as ps4 did when it was just shy of 3 years on the market. It also has way more exclusives than ps4 did in the same time frame.
I don't like the whole two-toning of similar colors thing they've been doing. I'd love to have one that was a darker purple face with a black back. What I really want though is a collection of translucent soft-touch colors like the ones they had for ps1-ps3, where the face and the back are the same color. eXtremeRate makes a collection of faceplates in almost any color you could want but their selection of backplates is pretty limited. I just my fully translucent blue, purple, bla...
The metascore is as useless as the user score. An honest review 'can' (but not always) be useful but lumping in a bunch number scores from different people with differing criteria for what makes a game good or not couldn't be more worthless.
