I am going to buy 2 of these so I can run 3 1080p monitors on every game maxed.
The initial stock is 10k, they are making more and also EVGA and Asus are making them.
People saying an oced card is faster are wrong. They didn't include that the Gtx titan will be the overclocking King of Gpus. Equipped with an improved 690 cooler and new overclocking software that can overvolt it we will see the gtx titan pushed to limits we can't even dream of on current gpus.
They support quad fire to, I don't think you will have to worry for an extremely long time about upgrades though.
These cards destroy 690s because there single gpu and there going to be 85%-120% the power of a 680 with 6gb vram. If you did quadfire with them (overpowered beyond belief, yes it supports it) It would be like using 8 680s, you would have 24GB of Vram!.
It only uses 235 watt, less than a 7970! Its like a 690 but only 1 gpu. Rumors say its 115% faster than a 680 so a little better than this: http://www.hwcompare.com/12...
One of these cards is 50x more powerful than an xbox 360 and use less power. Needless to say these cards are going to kick some major ass.
Why do they not do the original textures in 4k or higher anyway? I don't understand why a lot of pc games use the same textures as the 360s. Any 7950/7970 is capable of running full 4k without issues and it future proofs their game.
The PS4 should be powerful enough to emulate ps1/ps2 perfectly, if it has a disk drive I bet Sony would do this.

You could always tell them to not install an OS on it and install windows 7 yourself. Windows 8 is a cancer that needs to die before it spreads.
My expected ps4 specs: 8 core bulldozer @5ghz, mid end graphics card, 8gb ram, 3gb vram, 64gb built in solid state drive, 1080p native, 4k upscaling, hardware capable of playing ps3 games, and built in ps2 and ps1 emulators maybe (please).
Sager makes the best laptops, they don't look the best but their price/performance is king.
I hope the PS4 is sata 3 or 4, then we can use solid state drives and our games will load instantly at 550MBps. The current speeds are like 50MBps so 11x faster loading = no waiting, instant loading/saving, games installing very fast if your internet is on fiber optics.
I bet it will atleast be using an internal solid state so the PS4 will boot instantly and have no waiting on built in stuff. I am mainly PC right now but if the PS4 supports PS3 games I am 100% buying it day 1...
If Sony is smart they have been giving out beta kits for a while so the PS4 will have a game filled launch. I would love to see it launch with some games on it like GTA V, Dragon Age 3 and watchdogs on a next gen engine for PS4 and PC.
Not to bash. PS3 has better exclusives, bluray and PSN is free. This should have been standard from the start of the Xbox 360.
The PS4 better support PS3 backwards compatibility, its going to attract a lot of hate to Sony if it doesn't.
I preordered BL2 for $30, it still cost $60 and $30 on deals and its Febuary now. I got a free $10 dlc to and some preorder stuff. Not every game isn't worth preordering.
Steams OS based on linux will be the future of gaming. Windows is only going to get worse from here. Its time to start replacing what Microsoft is going to destroy.
I am betting on the PS4 and PC getting a next gen version of GTA IV to. This will be like the wii games vs the XBox/ps3 where both had them but the wii had ones on older engines with less features.
Bet 2 of these and a 3930k @ 5ghz could run a game smoothly with CGI quality.
This is the only single gpu card that will be able to max crysis 3 :P that pushes hardware.
