The only reason they get away with it on PC is because games are usually a lot cheaper than the used versions anyways and it can be downloaded infinite times and it doesn't break.
How about Infinityward/Activision stop being money hogs and actually hire some people to build a new engine. Dice and Crytek have far less money to play with but they don't waste it on advertising/hype and they actually a spend a good amount of their budget on graphics/optimization.
No matter how much optimization you do things like anti aliasing and physics need good hardware to work their best. This is where the consoles will fall short.
It may be specifically optimized but now that the consoles are x86 the PC versions will run like they should and not be shitty ports. Don't say oh it is its own architecture because no its a freaking x86 cpu and a Tahiti AMD gpu the same shit that PC uses except Nvidia has much better driver support and software so...
I can't play Bethesada games on stock they are really bad. I wait till the modders get their hands on them and fix/ improve them.
This generation most games will be made for PC then ported to the consoles because this is the first time in history that everything is the same architecture.
Honestly whats going to kill consoles is the cpu, jaguar cores are pretty bad if you were not aware, only 20% faster than bob cat cores which sucked ass. I5/i7s make jaguar cores look like jokes.
They have no idea right now but my guess is that Microsofts going to try to charge them for copies with unlimited uses so your monthly fees will go up if you want xbox one games.
If anything it will look identical on the consoles and slightly better on PC.

PC will always be better, this gen its going to be a huge diffrence because at launch PC is already MUCH MUCH MUCH MUCH MUCH more powerful.

I'll be the first one to say it. Ram speed doesn't really mean shit for games, it matters for stuff like photoshop though. The CPU/GPU bottlenecks long before the ram.
Now it can help if the devs optimize for it though so that means the PS4 might have better load times and such.
GDDR5 is faster by a ton, it also has much more bandwith. I wish they atleast had ddr4 for PC.
These cable boxes have more features and more storage than the xbox one and are much cheaper. When they can stream games from (Gaikai, Nvidia, PC, etc) consoles will be long gone.
