So, why would devs bust their BALLZ to make a decent game for that system? Look at the sales of CoD4 for both systems. IW wasted their time on the PniS3.

Multiplayer achievements IMO, only promote ways to cheat/glitch or 'boost'. Look at the Halo3 multiplayer achievments (3 sword kills, etc).
But single player,(depending on WHAT the achievment is), can be very rewarding. The Mile High Club achievement is the first achievement I'm actually proud of getting!! Surely you can't 'boost', cheat or glitch on this achievement...and yes, I called you "Shirly". :P

Got my first console (Atari 2600) in 1980, gamed on my first PC (Apple IIE) in 1985, bought a Sega Genisis (so my son could watch me play) when he was 1 in 1989, played Arcade games at the local malls, downtown & college thru the 90's, picked up the Playstation 1 on launch in 1995 and gamed on that & the PC until I got my Xbox in Nov 2001.
