I've hated EA since my N64 days... their games always felt short and cheap back then. The only game I've actually enjoyed playing from them lately is BF3 and soon to be BF4... I hate it but it's the only game in that league without going full simulation aka Arma. Dead space and Mass effect are good contenders but not my type of game... Dead s...

Just demoing what $1000 can get you... I can build a complete rig for around $650 that will be more than enough for gaming. $1000 is actually the sweet spot for building a rig that will last.
Seriously though... You could build a pretty worthy gaming rig with that much.
FX-8350 = $200
Radeon 7970 = $450
Asus M5A97 Evo = $100
That's $750... so plenty of headroom for the rest of that build.
I see them making use of that touch pad on the controller for the phone... other than that it may be comparable to high settings on PC. It's a first gen game so I'm not all too impressed if the game itself still has it's foot anchored in last gen.

Microtransactions are good... just as long as it's not on the disk already. Paying to get the good stuff without the work = OK... Paying for an ending to a game that was left a cliffhanger = BAD and stupid.
