I truly doubt the lack of Ice Climbers and Lucas has anything to do to with hardware limitations.
If the full leak was real which it probably is, Ice Climbers and Lucas will be back through DLC.

I get what you mean but you have to remember that mario kart, zelda, metroid, donkey kong and different kind of mario games was well established before xbox even existed. It was those games that made people love nintendo and still do, I don't see why they should quit making them now.
Also Halo Karting and Gears of War puzzle edition automaticly sounds silly because of the seriousnes of the original games. Nintendo games is just all about fun for all ages with simple stori...

Mass Effect 3 was better written than most other games. The ending was poorly handled but the games was never really bad.
I was 11 when I saw it for the first time, now I'm 19. When you put it in perspective, 8 years is really a long time. SE have some serious expectations to live up to.
It's not really new though. Just played 7 players Fifa earlier today on PS3.
Those evaluating the times gotta play games fast. Xenoblade which I'm currently playing was said to be about 60 -70 hours, and I'm 102 hours in and still not finished.

To me Bioshock Infinite was both a masterpiece and a bore. The gameplay was really dull. The concept was good but it wasted its potential. Everything but the gameplay though was really good. And as you wrote: "Bioshock is a masterpiece of storytelling and atmosphere, and the gold standard for which all story-driven FPS' should aim for"
But because of the gameplay, I wouldn't have given it more than a 9/10.

Agreed, but a lot of games have in my opinion pretty bad stories. Seeing those stories carried out by real life actors just seems unnatural or silly of some kind. (PoP movie was pretty okay though)
The Last of Us has a great story which fits the movie format perfectly, if the actors and director is chosen correctly I think this would make a damn good movie.
