With the console, even though there's a pay wall on PS4 I get games every month to play which makes the wall much more worth it, not to mention Plus is pretty cheap ($40 a year or less on sale), I almost always wait to buy games until they're under $20 which I have a pretty easy time of finding and I can get physical copies of games (which I prefer) instead of download codes. I also don't have to deal with shoddy pc ports, compatibility issues and upgrading my pc every couple of y...
I miss the Soul blazer game, they were some of the most interesting action RPG's available on SNES. Illusion of Gaia is still a personal favorite. Visiting the Nazca lines, freeing the mine slaves, the raft, visiting ancient Mayan ruins, just so many good memories and awesome locals.
I just played through Actraiser again, even years later it's still a great game with a unique premise. Too bad the sequel was just a ho hum platformer.
Bayo + Peach outfit + my face = happiness
I think we'll see more but it may be in the form of the Amiibo figures instead of traditional DLC, they were mentioned to have some find functionality in MK8
It is free. And I get that product placement sucks but it's still free and at least it's optional. If you don't want look at a Benz on your race track you don't have to.
Yea, D4 and Dead Island 2 are also running on UE3.... So 'next gen'
For close to $1000 dollars.... No. Hell no. I couldn't save enough money on games through the entire generation to justify that cost, I would have to build it and pirate everything for years. No thanks, I'll get a PS4.
Sweet sweet gaming goodness awaits.
Another World is an instant download, sweet remastered-ish SNES gaming goodness all up in my eye sockets.
Late 70's, maybe early 80's I'm not exactly sure. What I do know is that I'm bringing it back! :P
I hope so, I don't really care about the likes of EA and Ubisoft personally but I would love to see some extra support from Japanese third parties and more indies.
If you cut the names out and lay the cover arts over each other in a pattern representing the elder gods they draw a map that leads to a console, the console to end all consoles, that plays all the games ever create by mankind. And aliens, there definitely aliens involved.
What a sham, a contrived and inappropriate stab at not only offering a rental service but also backwards compatibility. This service is definitely a no go for me, I hope no one is crazy enough to think this is some kind of deal for customers.
I like her hair long as well but I'll take whatever I can get as long as it's Bayo.... and she decides not to grow out her hair in other places... Like her legs....
Playing those old games is reliant on having the old console that will play those games. My Xbox died shortly before getting a 360, my PS2 died before getting a PS3. With the older cartridge based consoles it wasn't as big of a deal, I still easily find working SNES,NES and Genesis consoles but with all the intricate parts and focus on making things cheaper instead of quality oriented it's not realistic anymore to think my console is going to work that far into the next gen.

Super stoked brahs, this game is going to be so wizard.
I wonder if this kind of feeling towards the industry and the fans themselves are why we have no real 'super journalist' in gaming criticism. Film has critics, critics that love film, study film in college, talk about the nuances of certain movies and the effect of society at that time on movies or the effect those movie had/have on society. Game critics rate games, some go the extra mile and do more 'journalistic' looks at the industry but that's really about it, and even...
I would think the same, the market will decide who makes money and who goes broke, BUT studies on mobile games have shown that it only takes a small percentage of people (1.5 percent) to fund a completely abusive product and make profit. There needs to be a framework put in place to help weed out games that offer no value to anyone but the company selling the game or their service could get pretty ugly.
Its a single player game with multiplayer, but I get your point, I truly do. I would be more upset if it was Pepsi ads on billboards or NASCAR style stickers on the karts but with the Benz it's still at least a vehicle, I feel it's less shoehorned in than many other product placements.
