Oh look, a misplaced tool. Get back in the toolbox where you belong.
Yea and arcades are dead now, mostly because of the price of playing one versus the price of simply buying a game.
Yusuf Mehdi would defend drunk drivers if he thought it would lead to more sales.
Just can't quite put my fin...ger on it. Ha, Yea, see that..... I'm gonna go drink the Kool Aid now...
Good, maybe they would take that marketing money and put it towards something worth spending it on, like amazing games at launch and more reasons to buy the systems. Marketing in this industry is insane, so much cash is spent hyping up things to a point where it's hard not to be disappointed when impossible expectations aren't met. Misplaced cash is a huge problem in this industry, it would do both MS and Sony some good to see that in effect.
I buy almost all my consoles couple of years after launch, that way all the decent games that have come out already will be cheap and it's also when most of the real next gen stuff starts coming out. This gen I'll having a lot remasters to look forward to for cheap along with some of the stuff that's coming out in 2015, not to mention the inevitable price drop. Patience always pays off with this industry.
Tell that to Atari, or anyone that tried slogging through the Wii shovelware searching for the truly great gems on that system.
"The only two that come to mind off the top of my head, are Rayman Legends and Deus Ex Director's Cut.[and Rayman still suffered lower sales than it would have, had it released as an exclusive, let alone on time]"
Add RE Revelations to that list, that port is pretty awesome!
As for the rest i kind of agree, I could get behind third party games being late if they at least came with all the content released up until that point but yea otherwise most of wh...
I'd watch her kick balls all day....
I love how they put a new twist on the Bayo style gameplay. Instead of being Bayo and having to do crowd control on enemies in 101 YOU are the crowd and the enemy is crowd controlling you. Such a great game and your right, completely under rated.
I've watched it, it's OK but I think I would have rather seen a 13 episode series out of Bayo, but for what it's worth they try to do the game some justice and it shows. I hope they can get some of the voice actors from the game to do voice acting.
I'm a little let down that there wasn't a third conclusion you came to.... Maybe all the horror stories and complaints of assault and belittling have simply been over blown. Mountains out of mole hills and such. I have no doubt that women have had their problems at conventions, don't misunderstand, but the idea of any convention treating women like they're stripers at a club has always seemed off to me. If you want to see sexual abuse go to any rock concert with crowd surfing,...
Almost everything here can be found cheaper or for the same price as physical, sans cloudberry kingdom
I hate to nitpick as well but apples and oranges are very different as far as their most notable traits. One is round and the other is not, they're different colors, they taste different, they have different textures, they're eaten in different ways (one has the skin taken off, the other doesn't). Apples and hand grenades is like comparing 2 things that have absolutely no beading on each other at all, like comparing the Statue of Liberty with a possum.
I think your confusing the word 'Cinematic' with 'shootbang', not to mention if all it takes for a good game is a movie style presentation then I think your mistaking what games are. I think only 2 of the Uncharted games are worth playing, GoW only has 2 decent releases, The Order isn't even out yet and from what I've seen looks like it replaces quick time events with in game cut scenes and Shadows Fall is considered by many a failure of the Killzone franchise.

"Most of the launch games Nintendo had for the Wii U were old games that were on the PS3/360."
TLOU remastered, GTA V, Metro, Walking Dead, Grim Fandango, Halo, Tomb Raider, Ratchet and Clank, Rayman and rumors of many more are looking to fill the new gens libraries. Don't get me wrong, I didn't buy any of these games on their original release so I'm looking forward to pretty much all of them but third parties are doing the same thing here that they were...
I'm not a fan of the musuo genre, never have been, but if any game is going to get it right it's one involving Nintendo and Zelda. I don't have the highest expectations for the game but if they can throw in enough fan service and some unique gameplay elements to break up the monotony this could be pretty good.
"And yet they defended it like we're dumb and thought we had short term memories."
We are dumb with short term memories, how many games has this happened with since Killzone 2 went up on stage at E3 and showed everyone a game they would never play?
Aliens AC, BioShock Infinite, WatchDogs, Dark Souls II, Infamous SS, there's already talk of The Division getting downgraded so god only knows what was real or not at the most recent E3, this keeps happening, good ...
That recent alien game you mentioned did succeed, a profit was made of that piece of trash, which to me is maybe the most telling thing about the industry today.

Not only that but it was the second best selling Sega game for the time of this fiscal report.
This is the big problem with gaming now, you c...
It could have come to another system, but no one cared so now Nintendo has it and I'm insanely hyped. This will be worth the price of the system alone.
