I do have all the EDF:2017 achievements, damn those were hard. inferno mode is literally the peak of insanity.
mile high club for cod4 was... simple... i wouldnt put that on the list.
Mass effect power gamer was... quite easy, just time consuming. kinda like gears of war "seriously"... you just need to put in time and youll get it, not skilled really.
@fox
We still dont know what EXACTLY the DLC is yet in size or how its gunna play out after the game releases. Way too early to even discount it as a waste.
would be super sweet if the ps3 came with custom controller, paintjob/skin for gta4 as well.
good for sony getting this in europe. microsoft should really retaliate with some massive marketing or bundle in america if they want to succeed.
dont forget Armageddon! another blockbuster crapfest from Michael Bay!
if you werent referring to rumble why'd you call it dualshock 3? just say ps3 controller :P
sure but xbox 360 controller has rumble too.
the title hints at ps3 version being better (?) but it seemed really balanced from highlighter's point of view and no where did it indicate one better than other, except couple times where he said ps3 had more "relaxed colour pallete therefore looked more realistic"(huh?) and he prefered that (why?)... only thing noticably different was no split-screen co-op on xbox 360. Controller settings, colour levels and everything else is purely preference.
gameplay looks good
PS: Haden Blackman, rot in hell for ruining SWG, ill never forgive you! :)
The TMBO server (north america) has actually already been offline for over a year now.... trust me, id know.
They are referring to the European server which will shut down. It was the only TMBO left alive, and alas, looks like we now know when its coming down :(
and thats called an opinion based on the videos we just watched! yes, it does look like a generic FPS. and yes, the movement does look rather quirky and not quite right. Hell, id like to see what you guys see in these videos, so pass me the cool-aid. Heaven forbid someone not think it looks that good.
only reason people are getting it mixed up is because every damn news article has it listed as a Square Enix game.
not people's fault for reading :)
and its not that big of a deal either. Their love for this game wont vanish knowing its not Square Enix developed...
obviously they felt it was ready for release because they actually gave definitive release dates, but im guessing their higher ups felt it needed to be better.
same thing happened with army of two, and that extra "polish" really didnt help the game at all. It still was utterly mediocre.
EDIT: that video is better, but it really doesnt show any character movement up close. That is the main issue I had with every other video, the movement was goofy as all...
having the release date pushed back over and over is a good thing? going back to the development table to "refine" the gameplay is a good thing? thats a bad sign.
go to the first and second video people...
look at the character movement and reactions to bullets. They act like robots and move all quirky, is that good to you? wth...
the more and more videos I see of this game, the more I know this game is pure PS3 exclusive hype. Really, I mean the player motions look so robotic, especially reviving teammates. It just feels like ... another FPS game like Timeshift or some random other FPS that no one really cares about. Hell its been delayed an entire year, right there thats a bad sign.
this is like playing a co-op dawn of the dead / 28 days later movie with your friends! exactly what weve wanted for years...
2006 we saw Enchanted Arms, Phantasy Star Universe... both average
2007 rolls around and Blue Dragon is released. Definately an impressive game, but doesn't hold a candle to Mistwalker's followup "Lost Odyssey" in early 08, which absolutely pwned.
And now the approaching Infinite Undiscovery (not a real word but w.e lol)... it looks good, and lets hope Square-Enix is up to the challenge of matching Lost Odyssey. I really like the story ive read so far, ...
Twisted Metal is not coming out in 2008 . . . maybe 2009 . . . most likely 2010.
Ok you dont care about episodic content? dont buy it! this is simple Sony damage control, MS would say the same thing if Sony had any upper hand.
But to dismiss the fact entirely that SOME people would buy one version over the other due to added content is naive. Sure most might not care, but to SOME it will make the difference. Add that on top of a lower console price, and it CAN affect game sales. Deny that all ya like, it just makes you a fanboy.
EDIT: Grats ...
umm i really disagree with this writer.
hell if you dont like faceplates... dont buy them, right? They arent needed and they are a nice way to not void your warranty for those who want to modify their xbox 360's look.
How does anyone possibly lose out by having THE OPTION to modify its appearance? I fail to see any negatives.
As far as not fitting right... sorry cant say Ive ever seen a faceplate not fit properly. They click in.
you forgot to mention Left 4 Dead. 360 exclusive zombie survival game!
