That right there was the first warning sign that it might not be so stellar, especially when the release date was last september. Probably tried their best to shine it up for months... but just couldn't keep it from turning out dull.

yeah I actually took a chance on buying the game when it first came out. It was at a special one-day sale of like 39 dollars brand new (day of release in usa too, yay me)

the game sort of called to me, even though Id never really been a huge JRPG person before, might have been the dragons, im not sure.... After an hour of playing I was really glad I bought it, and Lost Odyssey was even better when that came out. Hoping for more good things from Mistwalker in future.

Hell I even bought the Japanese only Blue Dragon faceplate for my console :)

I really really want a sequel for the 360.

To be fair, I havent disagreed with you on your SOX compliance. Ive stated a fact: its always better to use an independant source or a 3rd party to state your accomplishments for you. It looks lessfishy & puts you in a better spotlight...

look at any friggen products out there: Lets say for example some stupid Colgate toothpaste... they might boast: "rated number one in cleaning teeth - American Dental Association" on the package. Doesnt that sound a bit better t...

haha, im sorry i cant stop laughing.

You seriously believe that companies would rather pump out their own numbers, and tell people that their numbers are the right ones? It makes far more sense and it looks far more credible to use an outside-source for PR work. (thats Public relations)

Again, you have no concept of conflict of interest.

@5.3

"It's interesting that he won't use Microsoft's numbers, but rather someone else's data. I guess that legally unbinds him from any legal issues with false data reporting. "

Err. . . You do realise why companies rely on 'independant' sales trackers right? It's so there is no conflict of interest. Like for instance using the NPD (3rd Party). That way a company such as MS or Sony cant just exagerate their sales, someone else who has no part in them is ...

dude, he never said TMPS3 was coming out for 2009. They just started production and you're telling me it will be out in one year? I keep up on his blog, and from the sounds of things, it sounds more like 2010.

sure but even then, the margin of being "outsold" is so slim, that the PS3 really isnt gaining ground in North America... it would take literally 10+ years at the current rate.

"The PS3 is not only ahead and extending the lead in Europe but is outselling the XBox 360 in the United States according to data from the last few months."

I guess this guy hasnt been checking out the NPD data for the past few months has he... ?

"Clearly, the tremendous legacy of Grand Theft Auto on PlayStation, combined with the blockbuster launch of Gran Turismo 5 Prologue packed a one-two punch with consumers at retail this month. "

Sadly, I dont really agree with them. It didnt seem to have any effect on hardware whatsoever. GTA or GT5:Prologue.

The legacy thing is kinda pointless to talk about now, seeing as how it did sell better on "the other guys" console, and im sure people a...

especially when the games play nothing alike, and they are compared.

6458d ago 1 agree1 disagreeView comment

But he was saying it as though Resistance was better because it had "more"... which is unfair to compare since the games are totally different, and Gears is not an FPS fragfest and wouldnt function with that many people.

6458d ago 6 agree4 disagreeView comment

have you played gears of war before?

it wouldnt work with more than that, because it literally takes forever to kill some people... reviving teammates, regening health...

this isnt a first person shooter fragfest where you kill someone with one bullet.

6458d ago 7 agree2 disagreeView comment

Dude, Resistance is a first person shooter.

Have you played both? they sure dont feel the same enough to compare them on the same playing field.

4 player Co-op will own.

"However, a Gay person (male or female) can control who they go to bed with at the end of the day. A gay person CAN control what actions they take and a person of different ethnicity or race CANNOT control what they look like. "

No youre completely missing the point. Sure a gay person could go to bed at end of the night with a person of opposite sex, but that wont change the way they FEEL inside...

Youre wrong, gay people cannot choose anything. Youre t...

Yes I agree wholeheartedly.

" However, this was never a lifestyle choice for me. No one in their right mind would *chose* to be gay. "

Thats what I cant get over either, since when does anyone choose their feelings? Where do people get these ideas, eh? I didn't know we could pick our orientation, or else I would've been straight! (im a fellow gay gamer of course).

It is definately liberating to be able to publically out yourself without ...

I agree, except one part...

being gay is not a "lifestyle choice". sorry buddy, but people dont choose to be gay/straight/whatever. If there was choice, there would be no gay people. No one wants to be different or ridiculed by choice.

6459d ago 5 agree6 disagreeView comment

Ah youre Jamaican, well that explains the blatant gay-hate.

Just because its ok to publically shun/beat homosexuals in your home country doesnt mean that its ok.

I myself, am gay. And what effect that has on any ones life but my own, why others care, or have hatred towards me... is purely their own problem.

You should be ashamed of yourself.
