well in all fairness, halo did that with every new game...
remake an old favourite or just revamp its look.
Just because a console or their games may "bomb in japan" , doesnt exactly reflect the quality of the games.
By that same logic - if Samsung TVs in Japan dont sell particularly well because THEYRE KOREAN MADE, does that mean they're poor quality tvs?
Hell, I think Famitsu released their list of top 50 games of 2007, and I think Xbox 360 actually got the most games on that list (funny I know eh, for a bunch of "bombs")
yes the 1st boss was the hardest, ironically lol...
and yea some of the reviews were a little bit... harsh, but I think we can all say it deserved a little more credit in some cases.
I mean as far as sales go, it did pretty good all around
yes exactly... he copied himself!!
OMG thats like saying a director of a movie copied a different movie he himself made... because they had similar styles. Please find criticisms elsewhere :)
too bad none of those JRPGs are even out yet for us to say they are better.
And no, you didnt even play Blue Dragon, or Lost Odyssey. Don't even pretend like you did.
please, troll elsewhere you damned fanboy.
I loves my xbox 360 for RPGs!
Even bought a faceplate from Japan to adorn it. (image attached)

Im patiently waiting for Infinite Undiscovery and Fallout 3 for 08.
"glad you finally know that NA is not one country Blade take note."
yeah when you mentioned it last time, I thought I read you said I was from the states, then I reread it and boy I looked foolish. Yes I know Canada is in N.America lol...
@ above
At the current rate, it might take the PS3 over twenty years to pass the 360 in america, so they dont have to prepare that speech.
isnt this a ps3 game angelito? good one.
while i agree with some of your points.
north america is not one country, there is canada, mexico, and a hell of a lot of spanish speaking countries in central america.
yep Valve really 'screwed the pooch' on their whole episodic content with Half Life 2 deal...
I mean delays, and more delays....
Now we are in 2008, and we still dont have episode 3.
Yes but microsoft has the right to change their policy and make a hdd standard whenever they so choose. It's called a not-with-standing clause, they can change the rules whenever they want.
Hell, the writer of the article even admits he doesnt know anything about compression or what Valve can/cannot do, its just conjecture.
He is clearly over-analyzing this whole "Episodic content" term, and putting it into the context of Microsoft (frequently) saying: ...
i dont care about the camera, i just wanna play lol!! ughh dry spells of no good demos/games sucks...
yeah we need all of those.
#1 on my list was X-Men Arcade game... im glad they also had that on their list :P
for being a science_nerd, you're pretty stupid.
i see where microsoft is coming from...
but honestly, some people may still want to play crappy games, to them it might be "fun".
why not just throw them all in a 'bargain bin' section and discount them?
I used to have GTA1 LAN parties... omg those were the days...
I have always enjoyed the first game the best, its just the feel of it. "killllll frenzzzyy"
there are more games, and tons of hidden gem exclusives too.
Shadow of the Empire had the best codes.
Play as an AT-ST, switch to Storm/Snow Troopers or even a Wampa!...
and the Debug code where you could change anything in the world.
Theyre trying to bring down Blu-Ray.
Hell, Blu-Ray's biggest competition right now is DVD format itself. If Toshiba is successful in promoting DVD enough (their baby format, oh yes), it is possible to kill Blu-Ray.
Can't say I condone their actions, but this makes perfect sense for them to do just that. They get royalties on all DVDs, they don't want that to stop, should Blu-Ray be adopted.
