Got to agree!! I liked the Wii because it was a change in pace, bought 1 for myself and another for mom. I am not going to pay $300 for a HD Wii with no 3rd party support? Not even for Smash Bros.

You must be Major Nelson or M$ PR rep. That was a load of bull. As a long term XB consumer if you don't look at the value of the system something is seriously wrong with you. Those 3 reasons which honestly only 1 is a good value share digital games w/friends. I don't need to switch games on the fly. Not worth a $499 price tag.

I don't think anybody can misconstrued, "if you don't have an internet connection, we have a device for you it's called 360."
I cannot believe that every game on the XBone will be multiplayer. So why would I need an online connection with a single player game. Or why the hell do I need to pay $500 for a console and then check in at least once a day, like I'm on parole.
That's my biggest annoyance with M$ this generation.

I think a lot of gamers are upset with the way M$ is handling their loyal fanbase. Like you I bought an XB360 love it, I get my GoW and 360 exclusives which are practically none now. I bought a launch PS3 (died) and a slim PS3 which is my primary gaming console.
I honestly was interested in getting both consoles this new generation again. But I am sadly disappointed with M$. So for this generation I am soley PS4. Why??

I want both, but I also want to see some gameplay footage for KHIII. The KH series is just down right fun. The FF series is more serious, but has been slipping of late as they abandon their roots which made them a good series.

Looks like a more enhanced BF3 destruction model, on the other hand this is Alpha.
When everybody saw the pillar getting destroyed and collapsing the street we all thought BC2 destruction. So far from the E3 gameplay footage, I don't see debris kills or too much being able to be destroyed.
I have to admit there is some fanboyism, but when you think about it a lot of XBox gamers are converting and picking up PS4's. Including my cousin and a few friends.
The bottomline is M$ isn't making a lot of consumer friendly moves so far for the next gen. The biggest let down for me was M$'s approach to people without internet connection,"we have a console for you, it's called the XB360." Only launching in 21 countries, always online, need to use...
Loved the scope glint prevented a lot of camping snipers from just sitting back and not PTFO. We didn't see enough Recon footage in E3 to tell if scope glint has been eliminated.
I just hope the destruction is increased in the full release. Meaning I want to see tank shells hitting buildings and rubble crushes anybody under it. Loved the skyscraper, but loved the grenade shell hitting the pillar bringing the tank underground. So far I am liking the demos of the MP. Can't wait to see a full weapons list.
I will probably get a lot of diagrees, but I agree with the author. To me COD isn't the same franchise as it used to be. Which is why I converted to Battlefield, I love the all out warfare feel.
Of course and my subscription will carry over to the PS4. Now only if the games would also.

I don't care I pre-ordered it for the PS4 at GameStop after watching the E3 demo.
Hell I just love the new policy that allows them to update the game and not have to wait for this long drawn out certification process.

Already a PS+ subscriber and have downloaded 10 games at least might as well keep it going on the PS4.
Hell, they give me a launch title for free right off the bat. Watered down or not it's a $60 for $50, plus a years subscription to download other free games. You can't lose.

Take in mind the XBone will only launch in what 21 countries world wide. M$ is shooting themselves in the foot.
I thought you had to upgrade to Windows 8 and purchase it from MS store.
