i think that's what he's saying.
I don't care I have my PS+ now, will be playing BF4 in the future and will be able to rent more games. So I guess they will be mine forever!!!
I am hoping they bring back the BF3 & BC2 level of destruction. I want to topple buildings and shoot into buildings causing rubble.
The skyscraper falling is a big plus. Here's hoping for more destruction.
I'll probably lead more towards the Hunter & Titan classes. All 3 classes look interesting though. They just look better to me from the gameplay we saw at E3.
I gotta agree, he looks too calm to be aggressive like that.
The Cell was/is an impressive piece of hardware, the development time & costs are too great. By making the Cell more powerfull, it would still be difficult to develop for at times.
What a long and impressive history Mark Cerny has. I love the fact that we are hearing so much from Sony and it's developers. It really just makes you want to buy the console now.
The game I am really wanting to see in action is The Agent. That game has been in hiatus for so long and I would love to see it.
Has anybody seen any actual gameplay footage for this game? It sounds great based on the interviews and it looks visually stunning. But, where's the E3 demo. I have looked all over the place and nothing.
Crossing my fingers for October 26th launch date.
Of course not, they recently released the last PS2 game. That was their same concept with the PS1. They usually support the old console for 3-4 years after launch.
I think this was another shot at M$ "...to say 'we're releasing a new console, so trade in your old ones for it' would be a maker's ego talking, plain and simple." If I remember right this is what happened with the XBox & XB360 generation change.
Sony is doing a great job; from leaking in box content, talking about their decisions to make the console great, showing solid consumer and developer support and advertising your "future" months from console launch. The goal of any positive marketing campaign is to keep your brand relevant and Sony is doing that.
I don't know about anybody else, but I think besides the Kevin Butler commercials. The "Greatness Awaits" commercial is the best one Son...
The design looks like you can put it on it's side easily, so you don't even need a stand. I am really happy I can use my old Turtlebeach headset with the new console.
You won't know if the PS4 will be the console sensation like the PS2 until 2 years from now. As it stands now the PS4 is on course to have a phenomenal launch like the PS2.
I am glad they went to a more universal architecture. It makes things a lot easier for game developers, allowing them to allocate their resources better. Kudos for the powerhouse that Sony created, can't wait to get my PS4.
I am still interested in seeing how "cloud comp...
Was the PS4 originally going to be released with a camera. The likelihood of that is yes. Smart move by Sony to not add that additional $50 on it's consumers.
I don't think I will ever purchase or have a need for the camera. Didn't get it with my PS2-PS3, never saw the need.
So thank you Sony for not shoving it down my throat.
More like Drago (PS4) vs Apollo Creed (original XBone aka DRM Edition XBone).
I cannot wait to get my hands on this console. It reminds me so much of the PS2 just with sexier lines ... I am really loving the DS4 also.
The first comments on that page summed it up for a lot of people "i am an xbox guy all the way but atleast sony is putting out information, details etc(know this was leaked) but MS is basically silent on everything which isnt good when the competition is throwing one two punches everyday. kudos to sony. "
FFXV looks pretty interesting and I can't wait for FFXIV's reboot. But, the main one I can't wait to play is KH3. I am still curious what's this next-gen FF, because it surely wasn't FFXV.
Theif, I wasn't too impressed with the gameplay. Especially after playing Dishonored. Murdered Souls, I'll wait to see more of it.
Looking forward to The Division and anything from ND.
It all has to deal with Sony's easier policies now. I just hope this carries over to game patches from publishers also. I hate how if there is a problem with a game the consumer has to wait for a patch to go through certification to have the patch fix the problem.
Developers should have the option to self-publish game patches also. I know that was hinted at, but I want to see a confirmation.
@ shoddy
CoD is still 3rd party.
@ Blackdeath_663
Good points with Diablo III & SimCity
But when I read this it, sounds like M$ is using a slight of words again. Why does this console sound like it will have to always be online still?
I've read 4 different articles about "cloud computing" and it sounds like we are years off from it. I wonder which other developers are using "cl...
@ GamingManiac
The thing is if you watch the E3 footage, somethings don't even have the BF3 scale of destruction. Meaning the only things we really saw being destroyed were; glass, the skyscraper and the pillar supporting the tank. Hopefully that's only because it's the Pre-Alpha build.
With BF3 I like the destruction model for rubble crushing people. But yea besides that aspect there really wasn't any BC2 destruction. I loved White Pas...
