It's soooo sad. I cannot believe they haven't really done anything new for COD. Just upgraded one or two things and call it "NEXT-GEN." COD cannot do "open-world" they would have to add additional substance to the game. Meaning BF has been open world because of all the additional elements it brings (tanks, jets, choppers ... etc) to the table.
BF4 here I come.

I gotta agree with you, I am not that into fighting games and I am not a loyalist to eith Sony or M$ by any means. In my opinion the game looks like they just upgraded the graphics of the original KI and said here you go.
I watched the E3 footage and when it was on Jimmy Fallon and I wasn't impressed.
I was hoping XBone didn't come out with another power brick, oh well. At least my PS4 will be small and sleek looking. I gotta buy a side stand too.
The "spotlight move" should be fun. I wonder if they are still t-bagging on Helghast?
Agreed I am waiting on 3 things; 1) the level of destruction in BF4, 2) complete weapons list and 3) the beta.
@ irepbtown
I can't wait to see some more gameplay footage. I hate that they cut the footage right when it was about to go PVP.
It wasn't until they announced they were reversing all the DRM and always online did XBone start to really do pre-orders. If XBone pre-order sales figures were good we wouldn't have seen the 180 of all the new hardware policies and requirements.

When I see M$ really open up and talk about cloud computing and the practical applications they expect from their software we will talk.
There's the difference between M$ & Sony right now. M$ is tight lipped about everything they do, who know's what going on. What we hear about Sony/PS4 architecture is directly from the horses mouth. With M$ they say ok we have "cloud computing" .... go find out what it really does o...
Another Valkyria Chronicles would probably be released PS4/PSV.
Why hold off on the next-gen consoles for GTA V? I know it's going to be a great game, but that won't stop me from playing my PS4 over the holidays. Besides by the time PS4/XBone comes out I will probably be more than half way through GTA.
That's the problem Sony has pretty much put all their cards on the table. M$ did a great job with the 360 announcements and explanations. The consumer didn't feel out of touch with the product. As a "gamer", no as a consumer, I feel out of touch with the XBone so far. I hope this will change, or this console cycle I will stick with just one console and not get both a Sony & M$ product.
Everytime M$ says something they shoot themselves in the foot S...
Then here is my thing if not all developers are going to use it. Then why approach M$'s announcement of cloud computing like we were about to see the coming of the next messiah.
And bandwidth will always be an issue if my ISP doesn't have the ability to ping the M$ database fast enough the computations are going to be horrible. The cloud was announced like it was going to compensate for the lack of power of the console. When not all gamers on the platform will no...
I think most of us want M$ to explain how all this is going to work. M$ is very tight lipped. There is difference between something tangible like adding a camera to a phone and saying something is going to increase the performance of something.
Me I am just a curious techie guy, not a fanboy I just want to find out how it's actually supposed to work. Not just sucking up a few hints about something and calling it "awesome or crap." I was the same way when So...
@ babadivad & n4rc
Can you guys please explain how cloud computing works then? Since it's a fanboy blogger explaining things that others have said in a lot of techno jargon. I am just saying the guy gives a good explanation of what cloud computing is.
Nobody is saying the cloud isn't real. What I am still failing to see is how cloud computing is going to help gaming as it stands right now. In order to take advantage of the cloud wouldn'...
This is an awesome vid and explanation of "cloud computing." The vid puts "cloud computing," lamens terms and I think gamers really needed this. He almost sounded like Mark Cerny, with his explination.
Agreed, I am just happy console players get to a broader BF experience on the next-gen consoles. Nothing in this article is new news, BF is a PC game.
If Operation Metro is one of those confirmed DLC maps I hope they update. I also would love an updated Arica Harbor, Panama Canal and Atacama Desert from BC2.
Well good thing for you it was just released on the PC via Steam.
@ Godmars290
I agree, the other FF remakes they did were just graphical updates. I think that's all that is needed. Just upgrade the textures/graphics and combat engine. They can expand the story a little, but really not necessary since they have games like Crises Core and Dirge of Cerberus.
They should remake all the FF from 1-8. I would donate to a Kickstarter project for that.
@ Athonline
Now that would have been too cruel. The player was probably doing the rage dance or screaming "No, No, oh GOD this can't be happening ... no no NOOOOOOOOOO!!!" as it happened. Especially since it's 1 of 3 ever had in the game.
I think Capcom will make Deep Down almost like DD. But, yea I want a DD on either PS3/PS4, just as long as they make one with a longer story.
