Couldn't have said it better. COD is like the Madden of FPS games. It's the same game every year, but their fan base will keep on buying it no matter what they do.
I'll be renting it from GameFly. A 4 hour campaign doesn't do much for me, since I won't be playing the MP. Wow, the first 12 minutes of the game, is about 9 minutes of cutscenes.
Need to unlock the carbines, next to the assault rifles to me they might be the best all around weapons that I used in the beta.
Same here, I bought both BF4 & KZ:SF. KZ will have BF4 beat in resolution for native resolution KZ is 1080p in both SP & MP. While I think BF4 is 1080p SP & 900p MP. But, nonetheless both look amazing.
They need to do that on the US Amazon website. I know I got $10 off BF4.
That M16A4 is a beast!!! The game looks amazing, I can't wait to play it once I get my PS4. Sadly, I got the game today :( and nothing to play it on.
When looking at this I think of GoW & Hored Mode.

I think BF4 isn't exactly, because they improved on a lot of issue that were lacking in BF3. DESTRUCTABILITY is back (still waiting to see if we have BC2 level of destruction), they gave more depth to the customization, added an additional faction and more weapons, vehicles and did I mention weapons ... the list goes on.

People convince themselves a lot of things. Problem is that people will believe anything if they are loyal to a brand. People are loyal to M$ even though M$ could give 2 s***s about it's consumer base.
Last I heard PS4 was still over 600-800 thousand more pre-orders in the US and the PS4 was outselling the XBone 2:1 in the UK.
Just wait until 10/29 we'll be able to see what the next-gen single player and multiplayer looks like.
Man I am hoping this will be on the PS4 Diablo 3 release. From this article it doesn't look like they are developing this expansion for current gen consoles.
That is a beautiful mix of single player and multiplayer. Can't even tell the difference between the 2 in a lot of the video. I cannot wait to get my hands on it.
Wow that guy was very passionate. I thought I was going to see more about the actual weapons in the game. They probably could have made this a standalone game away from the Assassins Creed franchise.
I cannot wait to play this game though.
The game looks so beautiful to be a launch title. I loved the smoke that came off the gun in the 1st vid @ 2:38 and the water in the 2nd vid was amazing.
I love that era of London, so mysterious. I hope in game offers you faceoffs with characters like Dr Jekyll and Mr Hyde or Jack the Ripper. I love the art design of the game. I can't wait to see actual game play.
Huge difference between the generations. I might have to pick up 2K14 over Live14.

Agreed, we won't see the real power of the consoles until their 1st party studios come out the gate swinging. KillZone: SF, DriveClub (delay & all), inFamous 2S, Knack all look amazing on the PS4. I can't wait to see whatelse 1st party studios release this gen.
On topic, the only problem I see is that Activision/M$ hasn't come out to deny anything. Besides that who cares as long as you get a solid experience.

I have to agree with you. Even though BF is my FPS of choice, I don't think it will outsell COD. Their fanbase is massive.
To me I go with BF because with each game they don't rely on what got them where they are. They usually look at their previous engine open it up and change it adding new parts to it, adding new components to the entire game that wasn't previously seen.
I compare COD to Madden. The same game year after...
I am too, but it feels like that ... so many components of the game are missing. Team VOIP, lobby, it forces you to customize your character during matches or on the Battlelog, audio issues, game crashes, the revive while switching your kit/weapon glitch and the list goes on. I know it can't always be perfect, but come on. The game feels rushed.
