DICE needs to suggest when a real-time fix to all the BF4 glitches would be released. But, real-time weather does sound cool.
The Nintendo community isn't small. I just don't think the WiiU had any huge selling points. It is basically a hi-def Wii, so why spend the extra money on just graphics.
A lot of Nintendo fans have started leaving the console and are enjoying the handhelds more.
As a BF player I say this could be a great game, with many epic moments, but the constant game crashes kill the immersion effect. I was on a nice little 10 kill streak as I was trying to flank the enemy team. I started noticing that I was starting to rubber band all over the place and CRASH.
Funny statement, I could see if it was a console exclusive, but it's a multiplatform game. Just sounds weird why not say I'm waiting for more next-gen sells across all platforms.
I was thinking more along the lines of trolling.
Not just next-gen consoles, but I get what you're saying. DICE needs to patch all platforms, since they are all experiencing the same issues. Hopefully, a new patch is coming soon. That last patch really didn't do much of anything.
I read the article and it basically sounds like something everybody knows. No hidden or secret powers. The guy from CD Projekt is just saying over time developers will have a better grasp of the hardware. Which makes sense. The title is very misleading.
What I find funny is they are the first dev's to say the PS4 was complicated to develop on and the XBO was simple. Go figure.
I honestly thought this was an XBO exclusive. Glad it's not it looked really fun at E3.
BF3 & BF4 balance are similar except for the handguns and DMRs. But, the AK family pretty much dominates. The AEK/M416 aren't huge powerhouses as in BF3 though. I still miss my M16A3, even though I love the A4 version. The weapons need to be rebalanced. So hopefully with the next patch they tweak some of the weapons.
Assault Rifles or Carbines, they just rip people apart. However, DICE did make LMG more accurate I must admit. DMR's need a damage buff. Sniper rifles are ok and PDW's & Shotguns do what they were meant to do, CQ killing machines. Handguns damage model need to be lowered, a handgun shouldn't be able to win against an Assault Rifle.
@ Sitdown
I read the article and it's a misleading title. It makes it sound like the PS4 is playing catch up to the XBO. They are referring to the the XB360 leading the PS3 this current gen in the UK.
Bottomline is that the PS4 is poised to sell way more consoles this holiday season if you look at their NA launch (only) versus XBO worldwide launch. With an additional 12-13 territories coming by end of year.
Wouldn't it be easier to explain the new species/races if it was a prequel? If it was a prequel they could show that the Repears killed those races prior to the contact wars. But, I wouldn't mind something like 2000 years after ME3 and see what the consequences of Shepards resolve created.
@Trunkz
I agree, I blame EA for rushing the game to compete with COD. Everything else I blame DICE for. I just really hope they come out with self-hosted servers soon. A 32/64 match with 500 tickets goes too quickly.
@Langkasuka
I cannot wait to play all 3 of those titles already have Infamous and Watch Dogs paid for and will get the PS+ version of Drive Club.
I agree with AsimLeonheart, the articles title is acurate to a point. We won't be able to see if it will dominate next-gen in the UK until Friday.
Just glad we PS4 users could help identify bugs. Can't wait for the patch.
@AsimLeonheart
WOW I didn't even notice the downgrade. That's a huge downgrade in quality.
It's all in the wording, all in the wording.
I agree, I figured they would've said it's M$'s fault. However, I have to wonder did EA rush out all their games except for NFS?
Makes sense based on what the Frostbite engine is normally used for. What they had to add sounds standard. Can't wait to see more information about the game.
SWEET!! I can't wait to see if the patch works. They need to keep working on the constant crashes.
