Bad article, it is Gameplayer though.
Almost every reviewer said it looked the best at launch (Uncharted) which would put it ABOVE Gears of War...

It looks good, not fair to compare to Uncharted (Uncharted is gorgeous but has a very vibrant Hollywood look to it) this game is trying to look a little more real (though I don't think its pulling it off quite yet).
Looks aside it looks like the series is keeping the auto-aim button mashing jump like crazy fighting mechanic. I was hoping this game would go over the shoulder aim like Uncharted. Same old TR so far, not a good thing for anyone other than die-hard fans.
The only bad part was the weapons, one of the best aspects of the first was you could carry whatever you found, and seeing as the battles are still huge and now even more chaotic I think they should keep the same system.
I'm a bit dissapointed with the new gameplay videos, the A.I. is not that good and the gameplay looks too easy.
The demo has alot to prove.
This game has had a lot of good and bad written about it. On the tech side what they are doing (Mixing Havok, Euphoria, and DMM)is great but I keep hearing about framerate issues and whatnot.
The fact they are releasing a demo shows they are confident in it so my guess is they have fixed their issues, also I bet they have it running identically (as far a resolution and Stable FPS) on both platforms.

Seriously people who make comments like this are under 18 and sad about the console they told their parent to buy them.
I just REALLY dislike Tr-ace games.
The characters tend to look similar across franchises, typical big eyed amine characters that are hard to actually like. Gameplay always feels sloppy (usually just rushed with attacks and 100 things on screen), and the story defines typical JRPG.
Their only game that somewhat this breaks that mold it VP, sadly this is not following.
The D-pad on the 360 is rubbish. If it works fine on PS3 then it should also on 360, I doubt the analogs are different under the surface but the 360 D-pad has its own A.I.
EDIT: I should also note that the issue is bad on the PS3 too when using the analog. The game has a poor deadzone setup on the sticks. An update would easily fix this. PS3 owners just need to use the D-pad.
The only reasons I am against Games as an Olympic event are:
1. It is not physical and the Olympics are about sport. (Not a dis to games, in all honesty sports ans games are both pastimes so while some may laugh at games being taken so seriously thinking they are silly, most sports are silly too.)
2. There is no standard for games. Like other media it is subjective, whos to say what they would play?

1. This game (and most others this year) have been in development alot longer that trophy kits have been available. 3rd party trophies will NOT be standard till 09!!!!!
2. Trophies are NOT as easy to add in as achievements. Achievements have been built into the 360 from DAY 1, and are literally lines of text!

These numbers would be very different if the PS3 was cheaper. Sony REALLY needs to get on reducing console prices (which I am sure they are) but they have ALOT to worry about.
Not to mention dropping the PS3s price to much means dropping their other Blu-ray player prices...

This is really a 4/5 game. There is a demo though so try that before looking toward reviews like this.
He has been sounding whiny lately. Troubles or not Too Human is not being criticized for graphics or framerate, but for gameplay which isn't holding up.
