There are a lot of PS1/PS2 games that I like that aren't in the store yet. T PS store is also different for the PS4. Previous purchases won't work as far as I know. I hope they make it so they do somehow, that way every thing that's bought continues to work even on future consoles. You know, like a "steam" account in a way. This would be good for Sony IMO because of their ever growing catalog of awesome games. (And not so awesome ones too)
Anything can pretty much emulate PS1. I've had an emulator on every computer I've had and laptops. PS2 has a very good running emulator on PC I'm sure it would work on PS4 as well. I'd love for this to happen, although it's hard to find discs for these systems. Maybe let us play them digitally? That would be cool! I do still have the original RE, FF7, FF9, FFTactics, and Deception discs for PS1. Awesome games

I'm not saying it's unachievable ladies and gentlemen. I've been gaming for a long time so when I hear things like this, downgrades often follow shortly after. Demos hardly ever see the light of day in a decent game. It's not something new, been happening for over 20 years. I know games on PC can get as high as 100FPS. They're talking about VR and stuff, would be great. I'm only saying that I don't believe claims until they're proven and games aren't dumbed...
I'm not being negative it's true. For the last 3 generations this is all the talk you heard until the tech is in the game and the game is crap. Demos don't mean jack. So now whenever I hear any company talk like this, I naturally don't believe it until it's proven. That goes for all companies and devs... Put up or shut up

I was pleasantly surprised with the first Dead Island game. It was nothing what I expected, one of those sleeper hits IMO. I loved that feeling of helplessness when I got surrounded or scared to venture too far because I wasn't sure I was ready. That's what made the game so much fun! I traded it in to get the 2nd game but decided against it. Now we have all these zombie games coming out it's just insane!

With that separate CPU and memory it's no wonder the system is so "snappy". I had no idea those were there. Or the flash. What a great system they've put together! (I'm surprised they didn't say anything about the GPU) I was skeptical to read this because many times they say something so incredibly stupid like "it can be put into standby" or something like that.

I was so pumped to get themes on my PS3. I downloaded a ton and never used them. Then dynamic themes came out. The ones I downloaded froze my system for some reason. I'm not too big on themes unless I can make them myself. Just let me change the background, and have folders.... I'd be happy with just that
Well I haven't seen anything about the menu, does it look like the friends list and you just pick from there? Do "friends" have the option to no allow game share so people aren't just jumping in their games? Does a notification pop up when someone tries joining someone's game? Lots of questions
IMO gamers have every reason to be cynical. I never played that Aliens game and won't now. I thought the KZ2 trailer wasn't truly representing the game back in the day, but WD deserves all it gets. I'm cynical of games personally because of all the lies we are led to believe....
