This game is 2 years old already. I bought it at launch for the PC and since busted it and threw it away. It was nothing like it should have been or how you describe it to be. IMO it was the biggest disappointment in gaming over the last 5 years. Definitely wasn't quality and they definitely took shortcuts. Unless you haven't played Diablo2 I can see why one would think highly of this game. I just can't come to play this game anymore , even if it is on consoles.

I'm really looking forward to this game, but I agree with you. It's those small terms and the way things are worded nowadays.... I generally don't believe anything until I see it. I've seen so many instances like what you're talking about. 18 quintrillion could mean 10-20 are all people focus on because the rest are just boring or repetitious or clones of one another. I'll know when it comes out because I'm getting it day one hoping it's not another overly hype...

Nintendo has to realize if a third party is making a game for PS4 or X1 and it uses 4GB of RAM to do it, the port IS going to be watered down because of obvious performance differences. Developers craft the experience and people are already crying foul from "lack of innovation" and whatnot. The experience in WD and other games was terrible but we were led to believe otherwise. I think with VR it'll be more like a one hit wonder for most games. I believe innovation will only get you so far and lots of times it's not needed. I'm not saying VR won't be good. I'm just not seeing it doing much for the gamer in terms of unique experiences.
I'm not sold on it. Like someone else said, they need higher frame rates for it to work yet most games have a problem hitting 60fps. Also, I don't think of it as a "major step forward it's almost unfair." IMO that "been there done that" feeling will cause people to get bored of VR fast. I don't think there can be enough variation in games to make them worth playing. All sports games will definitely be "exactly" the same. Every horror game will fee...
Not only that but this is a multi platform game. Are they counting out the exclusives?! I wouldn't do that. I do agree with MGS4 being awesome. I can see that being a "classic" I go back to next gen to relive.

These articles are getting old. Previous gen/non demanding games are going to have an easier time achieving what they want than heavily taxing ones. One dev says yes, one says no. Ok back to the games!
Yet whenever people want to call devs lazy they get crapped on. I agree with you. Devs, in the general sense, ARE lazy. Not all of them of course. Publishers are even worse, but that's a whole different story
