four, so my confidence level in the hardware is pretty shakey. No worries though, im still on warranty and am fortunate enough to afford buying a new machine once the warranty expires.
This is the game that I wish was on the 360...the game looks crazyyyyy! The trailer gets you so hype!!
what a joke...a bunch of babies whining over a review score is considered a scandal, sad. just accept the fact that the game is not the be all and end all in games that you hoped it would be. its not the best game ever, its not the FPS ever, its not even the best game on the PS3. what it is...is a game with really nice graphics(really really really nice) but thats about it, nothing else about the game pushes the FPS genre any further then any other game that has come before it.

If they really wanted to stay true to the game the movie should be completely done in CGI.
But I have never had a machine that actually scratched my disks. Did have one machine (a launch 360) that left white streaks, but after some researching on the net the streaks were due to the laser leaving some residue (of what I have no clue) on the disk while reading. In the end what looked like white scratches on my disks could be wiped away with a soft damp cloth.
Now that Bungie is independant they can really let thier creative juices flow without being handcuffed by the monster that is Halo. Bungie is one of the top developers out there so it will be very interesting to see what games they come out with in the future now that they can persue other projects. As much as it sucks that they arr most probably not going to be making the next Halo game, as a company they are now happy. Happy that they can now do what they want, make the games that they want...
The only reason this and the related Sony article was posted was to somehow prove that MS/360 is better then Sony/PS3 or vice versa. People are losing jobs you freakin h-mos, grow up.

But i'm happy to tell you that the whole process was quick and painless. At the most it took 5 min to install it, but it is mandatory that you create an avatar which adds an additional 5 min. All in all I personally am pretty happy with the update, the interface is quick and responsive, and the option to install games to your HDD is dooope (system is virtually silent now). Hope this helps you out, later man. :)
You should tell your friends to expect the worst. From my experience (I am on my 3rd 360) once the machine starts to make that "wurrrr" noise it's days are almost over. I'm guessing that the noise is actually the heat sink rattling off the GPU.
It would help if they list the issue(s) they supposedly resolved. :/

And I have noticed a huge difference in loading time, now I haven't timed it or anything but it noticebally much faster then running it off the disk.

PS3 owners have been waiting for this game since that 2005 trailer was released, 123 developers, 23 million dollars, 4 years of development...this game will not disappoint.
I thinks it more people wanting the fanboys (PS3 and 360) to STFU then wanting Sony to fail.
