But pretty freaky for sure. I think the most interesting part of the release would be that the player we will be controlling is in fact a Spartan III, I totally thought it was Jai (Grey Team) or Kurt (Spartan II that trained he SIII's) but I guess I was wrong!
Nice, I was hoping the series was going to move away from the bright colored/clean look, bring on the grittiness and realism, bring on the violence. In my opinion the games never really portrayed how bad@ss Spartans really are compared to the way the novels did, so I hope they realize that vision in the game. Only time can tell, but from what little Bungie showed from the opening cinematic, it looks like we are on our way to another gaming experience. Good gaming people.
I honestly do not know what people are complaining about. I'll admit that the first time I saw it I was a tad underwhelmed, but the changes were obvious. Since my original viewing I have watched it in HD several times and the more I watch it the more I am impressed by not only the detail but by also the huge improvements this game has over H3.

But i'm pretty sure that Bungie had the characters designs down packed way before MW2 was even released, so it's just a (very cool) coincidence. If you look closer you will notice that its not a print but it appears that he/she actually scratched the skull design out, probably with that knife he is sharpening during the vid.

Who do you think the "main character" is? I'm putting my bets on Jai from "Grey Team", either him or Kurt. Both were assumed to be dead before reached ever happened and that is why the rest of the Spartans didn't recognize him.
UC2 wins game of the year, but yet this article is "hotter", and why? Just to bash the game? Because from most of the comments posted, the majority of them are negative... I just don't get it...

Do you have the link that states that its not going to be CGI? Not trying to bust your b@lls or anything, just trying to determine how accurate the info is.
As far as the games goes, we can only wait and see. But if you want a better story, read the novel on which the game is based on, it's friggin awesome.

For all the people who are complaing that the game is to short/easy, play the game on "Veteran" and you will get at least 10 hours of game play.
Yes all 33 of the Spartans were sent to Reach, but they were split into two groups. One group which consisted of MC, Linda, and James, the other group consisted of the rest of the Spartans which was led my Fred. Many of the Spartans died when their pelican had to crash land onto earth, off the top of my head I believe only 12 survived. As for the group that was still in orbit (to either destroy something or to stop the covenant from getting important info, I don't remember) the only one that ...
I bought one maybe a month ago and I'm very happy with it. While it is true that it does add some bulk to the iPhone in terms of size and weight, the comfort of not having to worry about your phone dying is more then worth it. A definite must try for any iPhone owner.
I think you are missing the point, actually I know you are. The purpose of my comment was to show that the majority of 360 owners are looking forward to Halo Reach, just as how PS3 owners are looking forward to sequels for all the games I mentioned.

My point is that people want to play games that they enjoy, and it's pretty safe to say that 360 owners enjoy Halo games and in a lot of cases it is the reason why they bought a 360 in the first place.

This game takes place during or shortly after the actual "Battle of Reach", so he is either in orbit defending the MAC gun generators or jumping into slips space aboard the Pillar of Autumn. MC was never actually on the ground during the Covenant invasion, all of the known Spartans were split up into two teams, "Team Red" and "Team Blue".
