With that said, Scorpio utterly destroys the Pro in terms of specs. It's almost embarrassing. You can expect Sony to announce at least one more revision to the PS4 this gen. Think PS4 Ultra.

Only fanboys hate Sony the company. The PS4 Pro on the otherhand is another story. Fanboys will try to dismiss the overwhelmingly negative reaction to the console as fanboy gripes, but the issue runs much deeper than that. This is a blunder that puts momentum back in the hands of Sony's competitors.

Biggest seller this Holiday Season will be the NES Mini, if they can keep up with the insanely high expected demand.
Following closely will be the Xbox One S. Sony will put their best spin on the PS4 and the PS4 Pro. The latter of which will under perform. PSVR will bomb.

There has been a very strong negative response to the PS4 Pro, whether you like it or not. You need to get out of N4G for a while, back in the real world, to see the truth for yourself.
You would be surprised how the market works. Personally I'm still getting a PS4 Pro, and already own the Xbox One S. But I expect the latter console will do better this holiday season.

The overwhelmingly negative public reaction puts momentum back in the hands of MS, who just outsold the PS4 in NA for two months straight. This holiday season the Xbox One S will sell better than the PS4 Pro. And eventually the Scorpio will outsell it as well.

I've been monitoring the social media pages. This system has been met with an overwhelming negativity from the vast majority of the gaming public. With that said I just placed my pre-order. I'm still excited. We'll see how this turns out once the Holiday Season is over. That will be the real test. Gamers love to complain, but money talks and BS walks.

It's a good brand name, but it also denigrates the earlier model making it seem inferior and inadequate. I imagine the regular model will be phased out quickly. I also expect some consumer confusion this Holiday Season.
Specs are mediocre. But raw hardware power has never matter in the console wars of the past. This is going to be an amazing system. Already have a pre-order.
