Things will even out between the two systems by the end of the generation* (*if you can still call it that) and there won't be a clear winner. You'll have both companies fudging their numbers like they did last gen and declaring there is a winner. Highly dubious and unreliable sites like NeoGAF will make a few LOL CHARTS and claim one side or the other won. Fanboys will continue to believe what they want to believe, because for most of them sales figures matter more than playing and e...
Within the next 24 months every TV on the market will be a 4K television. Sony is HEAVILY invested in the format. You literally have no idea what you're talking about. Please do some research into the history of this company.
4K is the future.
A bit lower than I expected from IGN. They're usually a shill site.
Personal review is 8.0. Lack of 4K DVD playback is a huge blunder. Sony has always been a pioneer in video formats. The only reason they held back on this feature is to include it in what I'm calling the "PS4 Ultra" which will be released in 2018.
The most powerful console ever... at least for the next 10 months.
Nope, they're in it for the long run. Deal with it.
Definitely not a $400 improvement. Not by a long shot.
Hardcore gamers will know what it is and they will want it.
The rest of the general public will not care. With that said, this is the future of console gaming. There will be no more console generations. It's all about new hardware every two years. There will be another PS4 upgrade two years from now.
They are literally one of the worst companies on the face of the earth. The problems with this chain will never be resolved.
I honestly can't wait for the all digital future. I will definitely support the "Nextflix style" gaming services that are being created right now by companies like Sony. It will be a glorious future. No more console wars and no more GameStop.
Keep telling yourself that grandpa. The world you grew up in is over.
Mobile gaming is now the dominant form of gaming on the planet. The raw data proves that mobile outnumbers all other competing platforms combined.
Let that sink in for a moment.
The world's most powerful console.... for at least the next 10 months.
It's coming to Xbox One and PC, and if you think it will bomb on either platform you're clueless.
If anyone thinks that Square-Enix is going to restrict their biggest release in a decade to just one platform you need to just stop gaming entirely. That would be financial suicide and their shareholders would riot. I wouldn't be surprised to see this game land on every platform possible, including mobile. This isn't the late 90's anymore. Sony isn't a ...
Except for the fact that it's going to be a multi system release.
My reputation for accuracy speaks for itself. No more console generations my friend. That's over now.
I told you about the Switch three years ago. Now I'm going to tell you what happens with the 3DS.
It gets phased out by the new Nintendo handheld. If you say "but but but the Switch is a handheld" or "Nintendo is consolidating!" you need to go to the back of the class and put on your dunce cap. You're probably the kind of idiot that gets all his information from LOL NeoGAF.
Think about the relationship between tablets and mobil...
Very low supply to begin with. Stores and online retailers were given very few units. I'm not sure if Sony wasn't ready for launch, or if they didn't expect the product to be a huge hit. I expect the latter.
It will never happen and Nintendo doesn't care if it does.
RDR2 is HEAVILY focused on multiplayer, even more so than GTA V. There's even a version of the "shark card" for this game.
1. The PS4 Pro is proof that they're taking the mobile approach. Or did you honestly think they made the 2 year old original PS4 obsolete for no reason?
2. The successor to the PS4 Pro is already in the works.
3. Deal with it.
I don't think. I know. And the Switch isn't a handheld. It's a console you can take on the go.
They are definitely not "consolidating" their business. Anyone who has read enough interviews knows there is a new portable in the works.
Gone in minutes on both Best Buy and Gamestop. Also sold out instantly on a few independent retailers. This will be the hottest item this holiday season.
